Dear All,

I suspect many of you are in a similar situation as myself. I am undergoing a serious bout of withdrawal symptoms right now as we're going through a period of a month without any racing. I try my best to keep up with the BBC and ITV F1 pages however thats not enough. I'm getting the shakes.

I just wondered what everyone else is doing to cope with this about of enforced abstinence. Any useful links would be much appreciated. Perhaps we could all build our own F1 cars and go racing. I call shotgun on red cars. :thumb

I find the best way is to drink heavily throughout the day and then again in the evening. That way, the days pass in a blur. Soon enough it'll be time for Spa and I can stop drinking.

:-D

Cheers Mate, I'm just reliving the start of the German GP to see our cars lead 1&2 through the first corner. Still makes me hate Vettel seeing him try and barge Alonso into the wall. I can't wait till SPA.

Anyone know anything about the updates we're bringing to SPA?

well even though i've been pretty close to turning the f1 off and not watching anymore of it, due to certain incidents lately.
hamiltons pointless drive though, alonso's unfair drive through and the iceing on the cake, fernando is faster do you understand.

i did find myself wondering what to do yesterday afternoon, as i found myself with about 3 hours of the afternoon and nothing to fill them. somehow the simpsons and a nap, although a nice change, just weren't quite the same.

however i reckon for me missing f1 might be a good thing and then when it returns hopefully my enthusiasum for it will also. it's also a bit like waiting for christmas, as my fav two races are next and i always get excited about them!!!!!

i have recorded that, so will watch in evenings. Funny to watch them go around "normal" race track. Do like watching NASCAR, good fun racing. Plus the drivers dont beat around bush with each other, if they dont like one another they will show it. In interviews and on the track.

I actually enjoy watching NASCAR when they are on proper tracks.... there's a lot of passing and it's always fun watching big, heavy cars, sliding around all over the place lol....

That's got to be the most valuable link of the year in my books Ste, Thanks. Been looking around for something like that for ages. One run through without the booze and another with tons of it should cover three weeks I should think :-D. (might even learn some Russian on the second run). thanks again.

Playing Formula 1 2009 official game and carrying the Red Cars to WDC and WCC :)
I will be doing a complete season during the mid-season break. It keeps me satisfied somehow for now.

How about they race these during the break...? Atleast fisi would have something to do and we'd all be entertained....:lol
