You should really take a look at it.
He's already in my block list of emails since my last exchange of emails so I don't wish to email him further as I feel he's an obnoxious <censored> but perhaps some of you might wish to have a go at him.. :lol

I've had a go at him before, not wasting my time and bandwidth over that ninkumdollop but anyone else is more than welcome to mail him and post his replies in here...I'll be waiting to read with eager anticipation....NOT ;-)

When I go home I should post some of what he said to me in his emails.. you'd be surprised (NOT) to learn what he thinks (for example) bout the tifosi..
In short, I've been following Pitpass.com pretty much since it started, and it 's been in my bookmarks for a long time. But this joke of a journalist has made it possible for me
to just remove it and stop bothering. He's obnoxious, clearly biased and his arguments are so poor that make me suffer and almost want to pull my hair in despair.
I am sorry for him..

I read his article [yes, the whole 3 pages] and to sum it all up it really seems that Mr Lawrence has lost a fair bit of cash on a bet judging by his in depth explanation of how the gambling system works. His reasoning: Alonso in front of Massa when Massa was leading is a death sentence. Lol, what if Ferrari held Massa in the pits for an extra 2-3 seconds instead? Such a stupid article based on childish assumptions. Using his own reasoning if they strip the points from Ferrari then someone could lose a bet that Ferrari could win both titles? I have never read so much verbal crap since the time I decided to see what Mosley was doing dressed up as a Nazi on the News of the World. Verbal Diarroeha :lou

Honestly I don't know where to begin when I try to comment on that peace of junk for an article.
So, let me get this straight ; how is it that what Kovy did is not interfering with gambling and what happened this year does? Who knows what would've happened in the case that back in 2008 those two drivers were allowed to race; even if Hamilton was able to pass his team mate, can anyone say with absolute - beyond any doubt - certainty how many laps would that take, if that would happen without the HINT of an incident and if the whole attempt would not cause his race a result different than the one that happened after his teammate's obedience to the team rules ? And yes, there were team rules, and yes, even if Mike doesn't wish to admit this, there were those journalists that even said that Kovy is a great chap for doing what he did and an excellent team player (!)
But now, he really cares, for the integrity of the sport; if Ferrari and the drivers mind you don't get the axe, the evil will storm in the virgin world of F1 and dark days will follow. It is only if Ferrari gets spanked by Mosley himself, with a firm hand (or is it a paddle? I don't know), that F1 will be saved! Forget what RBR , McLaren have already done this year. No, they did nothing, if they marshals did not care, then nothing happened, just like 2008. What a fine argument. Never mind the outcry. Never mind even FiA when they actually had (for the first time mind you) a video posted in their website with the communications between Hamilton and McLaren , Lewis asking if there's a case of Button passing him if he saves oil and the answer was no (well, we know what happened after that !).
No.. it's all about what Ferrari did, yes yes yes, they should be punished, flocked I tell you.
...eh, I am sorry I was momentarily taken over by Mike Lawrence.. I need to take a shower. A long one.

Pointless anti Ferrari / Pro McLaren propaganda as ever. He was like this last year, why should he change this year?

F1: McLaren denies team orders at Hockenheim
21 juillet 2008
par Auto123.com
From GMM
Team Vodafone McLaren-Mercedes boss Ron Dennis rejected any suggestion that Finnish driver Heikki Kovalainen was the victim of team orders during Sunday's German grand prix.
As Hockenheim winner and championship leader Lewis Hamilton made his way back to the front following the mid-race safety car, his Finnish teammate Kovalainen - now a full 30 points behind in the drivers' standings - seemed to pull aside and let his British colleague past.
Hamilton, 23, and Dennis thanked the 26-year-old for his cooperation, but some sections of the German crowd registered their displeasure by whistling - resurrecting memories of Austria in 2002, when Ferrari's Jean Todt famously required Rubens Barrichello to "let Michael (Schumacher) pass for the championship".
Dennis denied Kovalainen was ordered to cede, which would be a breach of the post-2002 rules.
"The only thing we do is advise our drivers of the respective pace of the other driver," he said. "They ultimately call it."
"Lewis was nearly one second quicker and when he was told Lewis was quicker he just let him past. It was a tremendous sporting gesture," Dennis added.
Referring to Kovalainen, he continued: "He knew that was the only way because the longer he would have held up Lewis the more difficult it would have been for him to have regained the lead. It's what being in a racing team is about.
"True teammates do these things because that's the way they are," said Ron Dennis.I'd just go to WMSC with this... and ask them
"Don't you think that what Kovy did was magnanimous?":lol

Mike Lawrence is a tool! To suggest that Ferrari's team orders were somehow different form other "team orders" when all "team orders" are banned under the mighty rule book is just pure hypocrisy.
If anything, Ferrari's team orders did not change the outcome of the race results for anybody else but those in their own team while other examples show significant race result "adjustment".
What can you say. Pitpass has never favored or thought kindly of Ferrari and this article is proof.

The world according to Mike Lawrence
Germany 2010 is completely different to 2008
Turkey 2010 LH "Will Jenson pass me..." Team "No..." is not a team order

What a load of !!!! "Lewis is faster than you" is totally different than "Fernando is faster than you" because one involves Hamilton in a Mclaren and one involves Fernando in a Ferrari. It's like heaven for some journalists this year, they hate Fernando and they hate Ferrari so now they can give them double the amount of hate!

It cracks me up when he says Ferrari is wrong and then tries to justify McLaren doing the same thing.

Yeah, you guys shouldn't even pay attention to all this rubbish. As long as you go on British websites, you are likely to get biased and anti-Ferrari views/comments.
