This sounds interesting:

Martin Brundle previews a real vs virtual race (http://www.telegraph.co.uk/motoring/news/8732678/Martin-Brundle-previews-a-real-vs-virtual-race.html)

The BBC's F1 commentator previews what is likely to be the world's biggest race,
featuring colleague David Coulthard in a real car against Gran Turismo 5 gamers.

Murray Walker’s will forever be the voice of Formula One on TV. But in less than
a month, on October 1, it will have been 10 years since he last commentated on
F1, at the 2001 US Grand Prix.

In that decade, Walker’s protégé Martin Brundle has confidently climbed to the top
step of the commentary podium. His Norfolk lilt is as familiar to 21st-century race
fans as Walker’s was to their fathers and grandfathers.

On Monday, Brundle, 52, will call a race like no other. His BBC commentary box
cohort David Coulthard is racing in a real Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG on a secret
track against gamers from around the world in the Sony PlayStation rendition of
the SLS – on the same, albeit virtual, circuit.

“When I first heard about this competition I thought it was DC racing gamers on a
computer game, and he’s absolutely hopeless at that,” chortles Brundle. Then he
gets serious. “But in a real SLS I think he’ll give them a good run for their money.”

With 404 grand prix starts, 71 podiums and 13 wins (all Coulthard’s) between
them, the pair know plenty about competing at the pinnacle of the sport. But both
admit to being a bit out of their depth when it comes to gaming.

It would be great if we could get a video clip of the face, if anyone has access to it!! ;-)
