I was surprised when HP announced as Ferrari's title sponsor. Had it been for Hamilton's salary, Ferrari would've announced at the end of this year as there was no hurry.
But the HP announcement...
I think China was rear limited at the beginning due to its new resurfaced tarmac and being green. But with more running and more rubbers got laid down, the track became front limited, as China has...
SF24 was very good in high speed corners but lost times in slow speed corners and didn't gain anything on the long straights of China.
I think they messed up the setup after the sprint. Probably...
So, the hard tyres were our reason for struggle today. Which is strange cause the SF24 had performed really well on those rubbers before the Chinese GP. On mediums, Charles was closing in on Norris...
Ferrari had the measure of everyone bar Red Bull until now. Even in yesterday's sprint we were the 2nd fastest team. But something happened today, maybe they messed up the setup after sprint, maybe...
S2 wasn't good either. Also lost time on the straights. Puzzling.
I'd attribute our "poor" pace today on 27C track temperature. First time Mclaren finished ahead of Ferrari.
But still good haul of points.
Yeah...Pace is not looking good. Quite unexpected.
With Norris.
Battle is not with Perez. Looking after the tyres is more important right now
Another SC. So this is now a one-stop race.

VSC! Finally some luck!
He's lapping now 2-seconds/lap slower than Sainz, this is idiotic from Charles and his race engineer. Why save two sets of mediums if you're gonna do one stop!
Why one stop? This is a two stop race
They should pit Charles now
Great job Charles, and Alonso is out of the way
Need to clear Piastri fast
Yeah, it was quite funny to read comments from our resident experts here when the SF24 was launched. It was all doom and gloom and bashing the car because of its rear pull rod layout, quite funny.

Ferrari focussed more on traction and acceleration rather than corner entry. Which is why they struggled in the first three corners. Low surface temperature also played its part.
Just like Japan,...
Low surface temperature makes the track rear-limited. Ferrari gave away 0.3-0.4 seconds in the first three corners alone, which had nothing to with performance.
Right now there is a big trade off...
Alonso got his comeuppance for being dirty. Sainz was also dirty with his teammate and almost ruined the race for Ferrari. We can discuss both.
Sainz didn't even bother to hit the apex, his sole...
It's not all doom and gloom. P3-P4, P3-P7, P1-P2, P3-P4 and P4-P5 aren't bad results at all.
Ferrari will finish ahead of the Mclarens and Alonso tomorrow. But on pure performance we are losing...
This car is weird. Charles couldn't manage to match his S1 time in Q3, otherwise he would've been P3.
But the SF24 for whatever reason was struggling in turns 1-2-3. But was very good in S2 and...
