He destroyed Norris in 2019 and beat him 2020 despite having a lot more bad luck. Gasly's win was out of pure luck as was Ocon's to a certain extent. The 2021 car also had far higher highs than 2019...

He was very impressive in McLaren. It's not that he's bad, Leclerc is far better at handling cars that drive like a tractor.
I don't know how long it will take for Leclerc to erupt but the day doesn't seem far. He has gotten screwed over harder and more often than Vettel at this point.
As mediocre as we're looking right now, I'm very glad we aren't McLaren.
VER >= LEC > ALO > RUS >= HAM > NOR = SAI = PER
Don't really care about the rest.
If the FPs are to be representative, tyre wear isn't an issue at least at this stage of the season. All that's left is for Charles to school Max like he did it last year in the same track lol.
As far as Ferrari is concerned, even if this was representative, we can still be title challengers over the course of the season because being about 2 tenths slower than the championship favourites...
Most championship winning cars post 1995 are understeery in nature. Being understeery is an indication of having high downforce level and for cars which already have a competitive engine, the best...
This means that as of now, Latifi is only ahead of a guy who raced only in the first 2 races in the entire year IIRC.
Exactly! If anything, I became an even more of a staunch Ferrari supporter during 2020 and 2021. I genuinely lost faith in Binotto and the rest of the team, as much as I love it.
There's no point in watching any more races. I'll see you guys next year.
Pulling that stunt in Monza wouldn't have ended well for any of the Ferrari crew. Binotto would literally have a riot on his hands if that happened.
I think all of us really know the answer but only ask this question every year to vent out frustration.
1 race. Just 1 race without any problems. Is it too much to ask?
It's looking like a 2 stopper for me. No way will Leclerc survive 38 laps on mediums.
I nearly had a heart attack! Good save though.
Honestly better than watching Verstappen win once again. It's no better than 2017 or 2018.
Championship?! Ferrari as it is can barely contest for race wins.
Yep, this is really doing wonders.
I'm gonna watch the race with this music in the background : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MK6TXMsvgQg
That way even when we inevitably screw up the whole thing, I won't be raging as much.
I honestly think that this has been the most embarrassing year for the team in the last 2 decades as far as sheer incompetence is concerned. More than 2008, 2009, 2010, 2014, 2018, and 2020. Forget...
Degradation higher than expected. It's over. Is it too much to ask for 1 race?
I wonder if it would do good for him if he teams up with Prost as a mentor. He was recently let go from Renault and is one of the few champions from the classical F1 era that are still actively...
Would it even be fair to compare the different eras from Fangio to Michael to the current drivers? I skimmed through the article you posted but I couldn't find a part that said it takes into account...
Who's the 5th one? Only Ferrari and Red Bull have the pace to win.
