Those times are looking niiiiice
Do you have the sector times? I want to see S3
I mean let’s not get too cocky. We, too, can only speculate. I certainly HOPE that we’re playing a great game of poker, but it’s also possible we aren’t.
No offence to you personally, but posts...
Sorry to anyone who has read this already of F1 Technical, I cant be bothered typing more... but here is my opinion
Talking about engine modes, Vettel said:
"We also turned up the power every...
Comparing to race sims completed by Mercedes and Redbull last week, this does look troubling. They started in the 22’s-23’s for the first stint (fat with fuel, start of the race). We’re starting in...
Nothing is reported, not ‘nothing positive’. One is neutral, and one has a negative connotation.
Better in high speed - check
Better in low speed - ?
Exactly. And lest we forget we did a 16.2 in testing last year. We’re definitely not SLOWER, so there’s plenty more to come... from us and from everyone.
Ferrari’s times seem to be ‘specifically’ consistent. 1:18.1(ish) for both drivers has been the same across all 4 days of testing. Could indicate their maximum potential, but it seems (to me) to be...
Apparently seb cut the final chicane, so the promising S3 time was not, in fact, promising
Aaaaaand back to being depressed :’(
I think it’s pretty encouraging that we’re 2 tenths off the best in our weakest sector when we’re clearly full of fuel and on C1 and C2 tires.
Do we know what the best S3 time from last week and or quali last year is?
Credit to MtthsMlw on F1 Technical, but very interesting and further to my post above...

I’m not saying Ferrari are ahead or behind, but indeed reading between the lines of Binotto’s comments (and a few other things) is definitely demonstrative of Ferrari being coy.
1) in preseason,...
Everyone GOING IN on Ferrari should remember that they’re not only 8 tenths ahead of Ferrari, but of the ENTIRE FIELD. Hell, even the mighty Adrian Newey. Redbull are getting similar S3 times in...
Merc, Renault and others have added more rear wing angle for today, so looks like Ferrari had the right idea from the beginning.
They used a single extra set - now instead of FP3 tomorrow (during the day). IMO, good strategy.
They definitely did, I remember distinctly. Sky is full of it
Predictably lots of doom and gloom here. I admit this one hurts, but people already calling for Binotto to be fired, or for Newey to be brought in.... this is the attitude that has left Ferrari where...
Could someone pretty please post the English translation? I’m on a mobile device and can’t manage it (also technologically impaired)
Would appreciate it!
Sky said Leclerc averaged a 1:28.9 over 11 laps. I believe this was both a longer run and on average faster than the others. It was also faster than Vettel.
Please correct me if I’m wrong.
Do we really think Alfa Romeo - our junior team - is a tenth slower than Vettel and 2 tenths faster than Leclerc?
Do we REALLY think Renault is within a tenth of Ferrari/redbull and faster than...
That’s what daddy likes!
Can someone comment on how seb’s first stint on C3(?) compared with Bottas yesterday? I don’t have visibility.
