We were a team, just not very successful. I liked him personally, but I'm not sure I would be ecstatic to have Arrivabene back as the boss.

On the one hand he is bigging up his engine, and on the other slating his car; that's exceptionally honest of him :thumb

I think any F1 racer ever (maybe even Maldonado! :rotfl) would win in the Merc, since 2014. I am surprised Merc even have to pay their drivers considering the car is the reason they are winning.

I think F1 must be the only sport I can imagine where the same team can win year after year, and there is no outcry about it being fixed, or at least heavily geared towards Merc that the sport...

The F1 media have been around long enough to know they are talking bull, they do it to cause a stir and generate excitement. They probably understand the sport better than most. We should never take...

That was true in Oz, not sure about the other 2 races.

Could it be that Barcelona showed the better aspects of the car due to the circuit layout which may have fooled everyone into thinking the car was brilliant but circuits like Oz and China are showing...

I hope that happens from this race in China! They can't let Merc build too much of a lead, that will put too much pressure on the team later in the season.

Sounds plausible, but if that were the case wouldn’t the drivers be in on it? Seb seemed genuinely confused. Whatever it is I hope the team know what it is and can fix it quickly!

Wow, that could have been terrible! I do hope the team work out what the cause of this slowness is and fix it for the next race. That will lift everyone's spirits quite a bit!

Problem is, if there is an engine or PU problem, it could be 6 or 7 more races until it can be sorted depending on what the problem is.

Sad to see the race today after the great winter. I hope whatever the problems today, firstly the team understands what they are and that they are not difficult to solve.
