Smoke is coming from the garage

No one is going for fastest times, they are running though a specific program so I wouldn't be worried about the times right now. Laps is king
Kimi apparently mentioned in his interview that they have not done any qualy type runs yet which sound promising.
I'm cautiously optimistic about this years car.
close to the end of session, could be testing fuel limit?
Fair enough but as I understood it a driver cannot receive any communication from the pit wall that would result in an advantage being gained which was clearly the case here. Bit of a gray area this.
Any thoughts on Merc pit wall telling Hamilton to speed up for the last 5 laps, surely that's driver coaching which has been banned this year? I know they never specified why but still, it shouldn't...
Nice and def much better thanks :thumb

My point exactly, we should have been at least 5 to 6 tenths faster on mediums judging by our time posted on softs.
The massive gap between med and soft either means we battling to get the mediums up to temp or we were holding back as Ham only managed to gain 1.8s on softs.
2.5s gap between medium and soft, that can't be right unless they were holding back pace on the mediums.

"Kimi looks quite good. Watching slow speed turn-in at the last chicane, Kimi looks really good, and at high-speed it looks reasonable but not as good as the Williams. But it looks...
I would love to know myself.
Lowest lap count so far aside from McLaren.
We always seem to spend so much time in the garage which is slightly concerning as surely the car would have been pre configured for the tests planned...
He's on hards
another failure for Merc..
Thanks guys and that makes sense however, I wonder why we not getting any tweets from the team this year, they seem to be very secretive this year compared to previous years test sessions where they...
Been 1h15min and still no laps bar installation lap, we a bit slow out the blocks today
They are but not entirely without issues however, they are doing long enough runs to expose problems. I wonder when we are planing to concentrate on longer runs.
Sauber also thinks the engine has taken a step forward so positive news so far.
looks like Vettel is back out on track.
Not much tweeting from @ScuderiaFerrari. last year they kept us up to date on what they were more or less doing, especially when in the garage for long but this year nothing they have been very quiet.
