I was let into the Ferrari stand @ the Brussels Motor Show. Has the opportunity to get inside the 458 Italia, as well as the 599 HGTE and 612. Was amazed to find out that the 458 is more spacious than its bigger brother, the 599...

    Pictures will follow shortly...

I love this car, while other supercars, such as the new mclaren feel a bit souless -to me-, or look way too aggressive, such as the latest lamborgini or the mclaren F1, Ferrari f40, ..., this car feels like it has a soul and is made to be enjoyed, to make people feel comfortable both by driving and looking at it. It's... sexy. Of course, while still being an absolute beast of a supercar.

The photographer went spotting in Maranello. Check out the link, dozens of 458 Italia pics, and other Ferraris, from a half of a 360 Modena on a flatbed to 430 Scuderia and 599GTB. Fiat 500 and a Porsche thrown in there for good measure.

Check out the other albums too, jam packed with Ferrari pics.

I didn't think this car could look ugly even in a crash, but that paint colour for Alonso is aweful!!!!

Whoa! Do you work for Risi?

That episode of Top Gear, well, that feature in particular was awesome. Clarkson clearly loved the car. I'm off to buy one.

I am a service advisor at Ferrari of Houston, the dealership that risi is operated out of. So I get to be around some pretty cool things on a day to day basis. We have a little maranello here in the states,
we sell cars to fund the race team. And just like at the factory winning is all that matters to us.

Dreaming of getting your hands on Ferrari's upcoming 458 Italia? You'd better know what you're getting yourself into, and this is our first real indication. Stemming from a supposedly leaked price sheet, the new V8 supercar will start in Europe at €162,900, before any taxes are taken into account. At today's exchange rates, that figures to about $240,000 – around halfway between the price of the outgoing F430 and the 430 Scuderia.

Of course, that's not an official figure – Ferrari North America has yet to confirm pricing for the U.S. market – and the long list of options amply demonstrates that the $240k starting price is exactly that: a starting price. On to that you can add leather everything, special paint finishes, upgraded wheels and more – most if not all of which you can already check out in the online configurator we reported on recently.

Click the thumbnails below to view the leaked document in Dutch and the translated one next to it – and note that the British pricing is a rough conversion, not an official figures. And just for your viewing enjoyment, we've updated the gallery of press shots with seven new images of the 458 Italia in motion.

    Such a very amazing link!

The first pic is from a F430 mule, take a close look at the rear exhaust, it has the 458 engine inside.

This pic was taken in the factory, a ready to go 458 with the engine on display.

The 3e pic is an 458 engine in parts.

Saw my first 458 'in the flesh' (red of course!) in the car park at Sissinghurst Castle in Kent yesterday.

I was just stunned.... and when I saw it driving out later, I just stood there grinning like an idiot!

It really is difficult to describe how beautiful it is.
    Trying to be less angry..
