Cool Bahrain GP 2010 Qualifying Thread

With less than two hours to go until the first Qualifying session of the 2010 season things are looking good What are your predictions for today`s Qualy? I think Alonso will take pole, the front rows will be a battle between Ferrari and Mercedes I`d say. It`s going to be interesting to see what happens to the McLarens as well as they had the suspension problem during this morning`s practice.

Fingers crossed for a good Qualy

I had a very speedy start and at each lap I repeated my search in the mirror, but in vain: I couldn't see the P2.

That'd be my top 3 guess too. Just not sure what order.
Feeling a bit sick with nerves for Felipe.

I also said after yesterday that it would be Alonso, Massa, Rosberg in the top 3.

I think Alonso will grab pole, he looks the form man. But Massa made mistakes, as did Rosberg on their hotlaps. We've not seen Hamilton yet either.

Hamilton could be a surprise, depends on his mechanics

It's gonna be close between us and Merc, maybe macca. But we definitely have an edge.

    Bring it on!

Alonso is very strong on his qualy simulation.

MS seems quite off the pace compared to Nico.

But youll never know until 1 hour from now!

MS sometimes saves the best for last.

Would not rule out Red Bull just yet, Nando, Vettel, Nico, Massa

Chandhok is going to go out in Qualifying.

Is that even allowed? He said they're preparing to race tomorrow. I thought you had to do at least 3 laps in Practice to be able to race?

Apparently quali is counted as 'practice'. According to folk on Twitter.

andrewbensonf1 @sarahholtF1 - qualifying used to be known as practice in what some would call the old days, the rule stems from that
...hey now I realise why my dad insists on calling quali 'the practice.'

Ah, I didn't know that! I'd be hesitant to send a car out for the first time in Qualifying! Oh well, I hope he does ok.

Here we go, Mr.Monotone Jonathan Legard. His voice is so incredibly annoying. One minute you think your getting relaxed and then he pops up.
