    2010 World Cup Finals Thread

    So less than a week to go, having spent a week in England last week I am now firmly rooting against them Just to see how quick all those flags and bunting goes away LOL

    Car flags should be banned, as should overweight beer bellied England shirt wearing blokes who congregate in pubs and pretend they really are England supporters the rest of the year (see below).

    The bar near my house has a massive England flag outside for the World Cup - the English squaddies from the nearby barracks drink there so needless to say I will be staying away from all the ENG-GER-LAND supporters

    England is the second team I`m cheering for after Germany (who are not looking too favourite to win after injuries to key players unfortunately). I`d like to see England win the World Cup

    The game just summed up what it's like being an England fan. Overall, the team played really well, the Americans didn't deserve a single point. Apart from that shocker from Rob Green, we should have cruised it.
