panathinaikos is playing with barca ............ good luck as well (even though a serious panathinaikos can do damage to a bored barca)

I support the italian teams in Europe, been following Serie A since a child, AC Milan play Auxerre tonight, milan suck in defence, especially when there is no Nesta around, might be a shock in that game.

Slight correction, that game is tomorrow, its Inter's turn tonight against FC Twente. My memory is very bad.

Yeah looked nasty, they never showed a replay so guess it was a bit gruesome, was a freak incident but right away the players knew it was bad, heard the snap off bone on tv, hope he makes a speedy recovery.

Yeah, we're both in the same 'Europa League Boat', Champions League it certainly isn't...

We drew tonight too, 0-0 with Utrecht, guess an away point is ok...

Yeah, guess it can only get better, a Liverpool Vs Juve game would be worth a watch, other than that it's not particuarly thrilling, the fact Gerrard stayed in Liverpool last night says it all, yeah, I know he's a little bit injured, but had we been playing in the Champions League against Real Madrid or Milan I dare say he'd been there...

He stayed home? Wow. Always liked Gerard, but a tad disappointed in him, TBH.

Wasn't his decision, manager left him behind...

Barcelona were great, Man Utd were just completely outclassed.

I was in a pub watching it. I've never liked the football 'yobbish' culture of insulting and threatening the other team, it's players, race or anything else. There were a few United fans in there saying things like:

"Snap his ******* legs, the Spanish ****"

Probably a sign of being incredibly thick, because that was directed at Messi.

"How much have you been ******* paid by the scousers you ******* ****" was pretty amusing.

The "If I see him in the street, I'll slit his throat" comment directed at Sepp Blatter was a particular highlight.

I was supporting United last night and I'm an Arsenal fan. Why can't football fans be like F1 fans and respect the opponent and have friendly banter rather than act this way?

Thankfully, there were only a handful of people acting like this but it's pretty disgusting none the less.

meh, none of them would be from Manchester. probably trying to fit in.....

its a shame, but at least it is a lot better than the past.

I do feel that Sepp Blatter is an idiot, but there is no need for that. anyways it was a good game, and Messi was amazing.

I watched last night`s final, Barcelona totally dominated the game. I think that it was a nice gesture to let Abidal lift the trophy, especially after the health problems that he`s had this year

Barcelona were fantastic last night, luckily I was supporting them

My friend is a huge Man U fan and I have to admit I'm not being very gracious about it. When we went out after Abu Dhabi last year he brought me a can of Red Bull as a gift so it's my turn for revenge!

so, Chelsea.... Interesting how Arsenal touted as the weakest English team in the CL has got through first.
i was trying to see the AC vs Barca game, and the Arsenal Dortmund game at the same time.
what happens to Man City in europe though? (NOT complaining, though )
