No politics, please. It has nothing to do with being right or left wing. Anyway, this is an issue for UK-based fans.

I think it's better then throwing money at a empire who distort the truth as much as they do. But hey that is just my view. You should do what you feel is right.
I try to eat organic food, cause I think it is better for me. If you think it is unhealthy, you shouldn't eat it.

    Congratulations!

If you're so concerned about things that are morally wrong, such as the Murdoch Empire, perhaps you're watching altogether the wrong sport...

I don't think F1 is morally wrong Of cause things can always be improved, so can f1 but to say that it is all together morally wrong is a bit much.
Why do you think F1 is a morally wrong sport ?

Will your morals allow you to watch Sky streams next season?

It's been discussed on this forum before about some of the countries F1 visits, not least the situation with Bahrain.
I just don't think you can act all holier than thou about some fans choice to continue watching the sport they love on SKY.

    Murdoch can get to ****!

I don't have Sky so it's 10 races on BBC and of the rest, well maybe if there's a pub I'll see a couple of 'Sky only' races and the rest, well, Radio 5 Live..

I hope that audiences plummet and Sky catches a cold. Mind you, Murdoch and his son and that Brooks b**** should all be in prison!

As I understand it, Sky has exclusive races which is what they have to "sell". But don't those 8 include Bahrain and US? If I'm right there then all they are selling is 6 races.

Dear god I am confused right now... So BBC = David and all races but only 10 live + advertising while Sky = Martin and all races live + no adverts?

Ted, Eddie, Jake,... they are staying on BBC? What about race build ups?

BBC = Jake, Lee, DC. Not sure about Ted or EJ. They don't have adverts. They will have a team at every race, whether they are showing it live or not. There will be a 2 hour show at 2pm for races like Japan, Australia etc; and a 1.5 hour show at 5.30pm (IIRC) for European races.

SKY = Dedicated F1 channel. Won't have adverts during the races (allegedly) but you can bet they will cram dozens of the things in during the pre-show and after-show.

If you don't have sky, there are plenty of live streams available, or torrents after the race ... if you're in to that thing.

Having a dedicated channel just for one sport should be interesting. I imagine they'd show a lot of archive races.

I'd take Georgie Thompson (or may be Hayley McQueen as well).
