With friends like Hamilton, Sutil doesn't need enemies.

As a business decision Lewis did exactly what he was told.

As a friend, it was a spineless act. Simply ask yourself this, what would you do for your best friend and what would you expect your best friend to do. Hamilton could have gone to the court and testified to the good nature and character of Sutil at the bare minimum.

He was there when it happened and for him to claim he saw nothing and knows nothing is again gutless.

A bit of banter on the media (from various countries), and I agree with the fact that there's good and bad from all corners. Having said that, I read here that Lewis was asked once at the press conference to comment on Sutil's statement. Immediately a McLaren spokesperson jumped in and answered "We’ve been told that Lewis shouldn’t really go there" and Lewis agreed, and that was it. Now compare that to the relentless rude hounding Nando had to put up with at the press conference after Germany 2010.
