You would have to build a whole new car.
Im not that crazy about a lot of macs looks thru the years. Ferrari has always had a better looking car, but I am a bit partial.
Oops, my mistake. Meant that Ferrari could introduce a more sculpted nose. Yeah, to bring in a McLaren low profile would require a new chasis as well.

Totally agree with you about McLarens not always looking beautiful, but they have been pleasing compared to others.
And yeah, up until this year, Ferrari always had the most refined and prettiest car.

"Before pit-exit are two Red Bull engineers stationed. From there, they also have a good look at the Lotus garage."

Is Newey already out of ideas ???? :)

No, they are taking notes of what to protest to Whiting from every car that might appear being a danger.

I don't understand why some people have to start worrying because we're not putting in 1m16's every 5 minutes. It is called 'testing' for a reason. Testing parts, testing data correlation, testing setups, testing the tyres.

Testing: "a particular process or method for trying or assessing."
Qualifying: "a particular session in F1 where teams attempt to set the best possible lap time."

    This isn't qualifying.

This is not from me i have no talent for that- but i thought it was entertaining lol...

There was a young driver called Kobayashi
When driving an f1 car was a bit flashy
    with his banzi lap
    causing everyone to flap
They must put something in his sushi.....

Alonso on longer stint, steady 1:20's with some very slow laps...

I don't think Fernando is making timed laps to calm down the Ferrari fans, but of course what is coming from the average F1 journalist? 'media lap' sure, LR did not do media laps at all, or Merc...

They wouldn't say the Lotus is impressive if they could have achieved the same time. I reckon Red Bull & McLaren can't touch 1:18. Just a guess, though...

Guys, this is important: What tires were used to set the fastest times in the previous days? Come one people, this is a good comparison.

Well, actually the comparison may make some of us feel good.... or not..... but in reality it meaningless unless you also know the track temp, fuel load and whether the driver was pushing and whole heap of other variables.

Agree. But unfortunately we have had the full range so far, ie the car looks bad to the car looks great. FYI I'm choosing to believe the "car looks great" evaluations

    Soft.

But there may be some positive signs in it. We have to remember that the track is still cold, or at least colder than any GP race weekend would ever be. And last year, low temperature has been a huge nightmare for us.

If we're able to work the tires in these cold temps, it shows we're moving in the right direction to solving our tire issue.

Red Bull wouldn't be spying on Lotus with 18.4 if they themselves could have achieved it, duh! Think before you post.
