Yes, they did. Only thing missing from that car was a proper exhaust system.

Yeah, but F1 Fanatic always delivers good-quality pictures, so I'll keep that bookmark. BTW, Nextgen Auto also has cool pics.

If you look at the wing pylons the space between is narrower at the end. It helps compress the air flow that flows back to the splitter. In this way there are less turbulence air affecting at it.
