13:03 Ferrari is still working on Alonso's electrical problem
I nominate autosport live for the running gag of the day:
13:17 Alonso's morning time is still the best of the day, although you have to wonder just where that pace came from after Ferrari admitted it wasn't happy with its progress earlier in the week. Could it be (whisper it), a glory run?
At 13:26 he's on track, they've fixed it.
13:26 Make that seven as Alonso heads out. Good chance for the snappers dotted around the circuit to get a shot with McLaren, Ferrari and Red Bull together on-track before they get too strung out.
I have been following the live commentry since first day and it seems to me that we are in a better position than last year to challenge the RB. I hope all will agree to this?
Yes, while its impossible to know the relative performance differences between the top 3 team, at least in theory Ferrari have a very good foundation to start with, we've had many new changes to the car, some were proven concept already used by others (rear pull rod suspension) while others are concepts that are unique to Ferrari.
The team certainly have a lot of work to do to optimize them, ultimately only time will tell whether we'll manage to do enough to win this season. But even if we don't we are certainly building ourself a new foundation that can be carried forward regardless of what happens this year.
On here. it sounds like we won and lost a championship within and hour..
This place is so funny.. entertaining to what has otherwise been a hell week.
we're number one

13:51 Earlier on, we speculated that Ferrari may have gone for a glory run with Alonso earlier. What to you reckon? Make your voice heard on AUTOSPORT's facebook page and vote in our poll.
Really, i'm beginning to wonder if those guys are drunk. Thats it for me- i give up on them.

I think autosport are really behind Ferrari, trying to bring us down. I am following both autosport and gpupdate live commentry though...
Alonso on track...
BBC Sport's chief F1 writer Andrew Benson
"We're told by paddock sources that the Ferrari has been in the garage much of the day because a bunch of new parts - including a new exhaust system - arrived from Italy and are being fitted to the car."
