Wrong stat. Senna completed 249 and Grosjean 212. Both ahead of Raikkonen.

Because it drags on the page and waste the bandwidth when you are browsing it on the phone.

@ScarbsF1:Reviewing the pics from the Jerez test, has anyone else noticed Ferrari floor in the coke bottle is thinner and shinier than other teams?

Take from this what you would like but I started tweeting with Jonathan Noble of Autosport yesterday after he asked for some feedback on Autosport's coverage of the Jerez test.

Here are my tweets to him and below that are his responses.

Definitely looking forward to what happens in Barcelona in a little over one weeks time...

tbh Jon Noble wasn't the problem, neither were the articles.
the problem was the stupid headlines and live comments.

thank you, good job and welcome Agasthya

Alonso says Barcelona will be better. I just hope they will not have any more reliability issues, and can get on with their program. and the team seemed pretty calm and smiley over the test. seems like they did make genuine progress.

I have to laugh at all of the Extreme Comments and opinins. The fact is the Ferrari team had no normal initial test when they presented the race car. The first or two was really the first orientation process of system checking. They had not database to start from. By day 4 Alonso was able to get a fast time in and the team had many setups to try. They are trying all kinds of things witht he race car and exploring the limits of modern Formula One design with this race car. The trick will be to marry all of the components of the race car to work in unison. As Massa said on day 2, the car has tremendous potential and there lies the the future of this race car compared to the other teams. This is a race car just Starting the Development process where many of the others are very far into their life-cycle's and nearing their useful life. This Ferrari Race Car has just been born and has a long life in front of it. I look forward to the next test.

    Ciao.

I agree with you Frank and what gives me greater hope is Alonso saying there is much more to come from the setup as they haven't even begun to explore the setup possibilities of this machine. The majority of the runs were centred on data acquisition of various new parts and as such the car has never been in a given configuration for any length of time.

I just watched a video over at the Autosport forum and the handling or supposed bad handling is axaggerated. I saw no twitching under braking and the car responded well to steering input although traction can still be improved.

If the video is in the public domain, you might want to post it here

I'm using my phone so apologies for the mobile site link.

There is plenty footage of the car after the music at the chicane. Quite a nice vid as you are able to draw comparisons with the other cars going through there as well.

Compliments go to Crucial Extreme from the Autosport forums.

Pleasure. The RB8 looks ominous though. They brake later on entry into that chicane and can carry the power right through into the following corner.

I didn't have a good look at the tyres though. I thought I saw mediums or hards on the Ferrari.

Hopefully at Barcelona Ferrari will be able to unleash the potential we know the car has.

I would love nothing more apart from maybe one night with Salma Hayek.

    Thanks for the video.

Yeah Red Bull looks to be in a league of it's own but the F2012 looked much better than I was expecting. Another positive is that McLaren didn't look as good as some were claiming.

No, the bigfoot video didn't work either. I decided I would watch it since I was there but couldn't.

All this hype about McLaren looking good. LOL. Just seen that video and there's also 2 other parts to it! McLaren twitchy here and there just like Ferrari, who cares let them be delusional.
Red Bull however looking very good.
