Our Rare end looks much more compact, I guess there is still lot of scope for improvement.
    Thanks for the pics.

Its amazing how compact it is, considering that this is Ferrari's first use of pull rod suspension, and already we could immediately compact the rear section as well as Red Bull.

good first day. and calm down about Magnum P.I. F150 was great and MP4 26 a dog in testing, but then the roles were reversed come the racing.

Tombazis is happy, so i'm happy. Pullrods, exhausts, and no major issues, in fact most laps out of the top cars, so big plus there. Car looks a lot nicer on track. got to laugh at McLaren fans getting all high and mighty about the looks of their car. as if they wouldn't have used a step if it gave them a benefit.

It looks like we just need to isolate all around those tubes not only the sides and it should be good!

"I cannot judge what he did in his time at Renault and McLaren but I have worked with World Champions Schumacher, Villeneuve and Raikkonen and Fernando is the one who impresses me the most," said Gene.

Tombazis has this to say when asked about the legality of the exhaust:

"We have already had quite a lot of correspondence [with the FIA] and I think it is quite clear what is allowed. I believe what we have is completely legal."

    From twitter :
Ferrari: Wind tunnel & CFD-to-track correlation seems correct, according to designer Nic Tombazis, team will be relieved after probs last yr
Ferrari confirmed that the tunnel & CFD have a correct correlation with the track;)
It seems that solutions to the balance of the car found by Pat Fry and we talked a while, worked;)
    Sounds good

Ferrari's pullrod front suspension is impressive, they confirm had to strengthen upright to handle the increased loads. Gives aero benefit.

Massa only used the "hard -silver marking" tyres today, so no worries everything is going to plan.

What does puzzle me is, that in the pic where the exhaust has been cut, you can see it was pointing downwards, and they cut it so it pointed upwards..
If we go by the rules the exhaust must be pointing upwards...so only by the looks of things the first solution could be just for show..

I don't think it has to point upwards. I believe the regs allow for blowing the brake ducts with the exhaust this year.

seems Newey and his puppets will protest us and Mclaren because of our exhaust solutions which uses to gasses redirect to gain aerodynamical effect

After reading his comments on the reactive ride height ("we didn't deem it necessary to research"), and now this. Anybody else think it was Newey and Red Bull that ran to FIA over the Lotus braking system?

i'm not saying it illegal to blow the brake ducts, what is illegal is pointing the exhaust downwards, like you can see it was before it was cut..
blowing the brake ducts is accomplished by positioning the exhaust the lowest possible by regulations and then point it at the brake ducts in an angle at least of 10 degrees..

I haven't seen this posted yet, so here's three minutes of testing video. I'm so desperate, I'd watch an HRT testing alone right now!

Absolutely might be. When finding loopholes, they're right. When not having smth. efficient others have, they act like some whiners.

Tombazis said they had a correspondence with FIA and everything seems like it's done by the rules.
