There is definitely something going on behind that bump, suspension related I expect!

People, keep in mind there is a front-wing F-duct. Haven't seen any holes in that nose, the air has to come from somewhere.

Maybe the slot above the engine air intake? That would work.

that's some major heat damage/warpage on those exhaust panels...

hopefully if we have to modify them to copmansate for additional cooling we won't lose too much aero performance
So 2023 started off bad, but managed to claw back some lap time come end of the year. Lets hope SF24 will give us tifosi something to smile about.

Yes, but it's pointing straight rearwards, not downwards like the bodywork does. That's why only the upper part is burned.

As well as all the heat sensors you can see on the car, we're running a device attached to the rear wing endplate which is an infrared sensor designed to check to make sure the tyres are ok. They'll do this with a new exhaust layout.

Red Bulls rear brakeducts look like they give a lot of downforce. Far more planes or slots than us for example. (If it works I donīt know)

So some cooked metal is the most exciting news today about Ferrari, it seems- even their twitter doesn't know what to write about

What a difference to LR, they are writing poetic tweets that must bring tears to the Kimibots eyes. Like this one:

@Lotus_F1Team The #E20 glistens in the sun as Kimi brings it home from another solid run
I think they should have added some music though, how about this one.

Looks like the exhaust is fully directed to the rear tyres on the F2012, guessing it's a solution to heat up the tyres quicker? If so, wouldn't that wear out the tyres sooner?

After engine cooling excuses, now drivers... like your drivers really looked like they were roasting last year!

RB do tend to wind people up don't they, they need to grow some and grow up if they wanna be appreciated in the F1 circus!!! Better say nothing than coming up with stupid excuses like that which will attract even more attention!

Unlikely that's the reason. They're directed towards the brake ducts area like the RBR to generate more downforce. They won't be pointed at the tyre itself.

I'm wondering if the Acer housing is just for the exhaust or it throws out the hot air from the sidepod rads too

Should just be from the exhausts. The hole is pretty small, the exhaust will nearly fill it's diameter. I imagine the exit for the hot air is the big hole in the centre at the rear of the car.
