As for new parts I think they had them all the time but couldnt test them all at once before they ger basic data and feeling about the car...Maybe they have A B and C variants of different parts and try them out which functions the best...
Or maybe it's Fernando making the difference. Again.

Possibly. I am a Ferrari fan. I am happy no matter which driver is doing better, as long as we are ahead of the others.

If it does need fixing... at this point the Jury's still out. I reserve my judgement for another 2 weeks, hopefully that's enough time to get it through the myriad of matrix tests they need to get the right setup and integration of the new parts

I think it's going to be a great year for Fernando, not so much for Felipe - guess he can't get heat into those tires no matter the car.

Autosport asks "are you happy with the car?" -> Fry: "We are okay, but I would not say I am happy yet until we get the whole thing working (perfectly)" -> Autosport writes headline: "Ferrari not happy"

Maybe this is what it is.

Pat Fry - We were set back a little bit by the foot of snow in Fiorano, certainly the first morning of Felipe [Massa] was spent doing what we would have done there, so we are now trying to play catch up

But it's probably just that Massa sucks.

Did Massa take no podiums last year whereas Alonso took 10 of them, including a win? Doesn't that make Massa a lousy driver compared to Alonso? I have nothing against the guy, it's just he can't get heat into those damn tires.

Alonso is the best driver on the grid. It doesn't follow from that fact that Massa is a bad driver, though. And I see absolutely no point in slamming him on a Ferrari board.

With a new floor and two days of testing done to further the setup.

    Massa's best lap a 120.454

    Alonso's a 120.412

Pretty close but Massa should be thrown under the bus? Brilliant!

Maybe we should be asking why Alonso is so close to a lousy no good can't get on the podium driver like Massa then?

I'd say it's the same reason Kimi was the "fastest man in F1" yet got thumped by Massa in equal equipment, or the other fastest man alive Hamiton constantly finding himself behind Massa last year.

    Don't judge Massa.
Alonso would make anyone look like a brainless handicapped "driver"...

Just wait until Luca Badoer returns to F1 then Massa and Alonso don't stand a chance.

Reading Fry's words, it appears the decision to go with a radical design is a much bigger undertaking than
anyone is realizing, including me. I do hope that Ferrari have enough time, given the short testing time, to get
all of this accomplished. This has got to be huge.

I also find really interesting, reading Autosport this AM, the phylosophy of Mac running a "low" profile design as compared to
Ferrari and everyone else running a "high" profile concept, hence the traditional style nose on the Mac. 2 totally different concepts
to achieve very similar results. Which concept will prove correct?

Isnt this a testing thread? I thought for a minute it was a Nando vs Massa thread..with a Kimi thrown in for whatever reason...

    The Stun:

Ferrari are negotiating a sensational swoop for Raikonnen in exchange for Massa. Lotus are allegedly willing to also do a magnum container buy back to offset the scuderia's inital investment in the Icecream man. Sources to both camps are suggesting that the laptimes that Raikonnen managed on the first day at Jerez have ignited this situatiuon and Raikonnen is happy to return to his old outfit provided he continue where he left off @ Earning an absolute fortune for as little as possible in return in the way of effort on his part.

Looks like a panic creeps in slowly in some fair-weather Ferrari fans hearts... :-S

Let's keep faith in our boys and wait till the first race to see what is the full truth about us and other teams.
