15:54 Alonso is in and out of the pits again, but he is bolted to a set of super-softs so it's possible we may yet see something special.

15:46 Alonso wakes up the Spanish crowd by setting a personal best with less than 15 minutes of the session to go. His 1m23.180s jumps him to fourth in the standings.
15:51 Alonso's pitted again and gone back out.

and u assume that sauber or catheram is quicker than Rb or Ferrari ???hum???

    it was on hard tyres

E passa quarto. "

It's possible that it was either softs or mediums.

calm down man you dont know the fuel loads.
Ferrar said they will not go for quick times today, they only tested the super-soft tyres.
Sauber and Force india cant be quicker than Ferrari and vettels time was on soft.

Interesting running today..it appeared Alonso wasnt out there much, but he still
did over 80 laps. RB n Mac pounded quite a bit, you can tell people are anxious
    to see some real racing.

Given that Ferrari is building a car from scratch, no need for panic yet, I think. Well done ,guys

87 laps in a day seems ok to me.

Much better than what we did in Jerez

I guess it was not super soft tyre stint because i heard Pirelli did not bring here super softs because it is the only compound which is the same level of last year's tyre

    Sascha W. @JensMander_
@InsideFerrari You better go back to maranello and build a new one! This car is crap!I guess you'd go for the championship this year but...

    Scuderia Ferrari @InsideFerrari
@JensMander_ A bit too early to say, don't you think?

    Ferrari:

...Fernando Alonso continued with the tasks of development and data acquisition relating to the behaviour of the F2012. The Spanish driver got through all the key elements of the planned programme...

But he dosnt seem to be confident at his answer as well
if he was confident maybe he would say: You will see in melbourne if its a crap

and then if it is crap in Melbourne, he (and Ferrari) will look stupid.

He gave a textbook answer, though IMO he should have just ignored him.

IN all honesty the car's full potential will only be known after the first few races. Until then we must be patient and not expect too much from Ferrari. Alonso himself confirmed this before testing even started.

He cannot give that answer, because I'm sure Ferrari doesn't know how they compare to their rivals. Ferrari and the drivers said they are minding their own business and not looking at others or the stopwatch. Why is it so difficult to believe them, they will be the first to admit if there is such a serious issue as some claim.
