2012 Monaco GP: Nods and Nays

    HONOR ROLL
Driver of the Race: For me, it was a tie between Alonso & Vettel
    Honorable Mention: Sergio Perez (24 --> 11)
Overtaking Move of the Race:That was one boring part of the race
Race High Point: Alonso jumping Hamilton during pits

    HORROR ROLL
    Driver off the Pace: Button
The Lewis Hamilton Bonehead Move of the Race Award goes to:None
Race Low Point: everybody on one stopper made it little boring

    Your Take on the Race:
Massa looked so much better today, well done. Now Alonso leading the Championship for the second time this season, this season is more like a game of musical chairs, lets see who gets a seat when the music stops

    HONOR ROLL
Driver of the Race: Webber. Cool and calm. Controlled the race.
Honorable Mention: Vettel. Made the best of his strategy.
Overtaking Move of the Race: Erm? What's that again?
Race High Point: The start. Almost a carnage which could have blown into Spa 1998 had all the others not been as sensible as they ultimately were.

    HORROR ROLL
    Driver off the Pace: Button
The Lewis Hamilton Bonehead Move of the Race Award goes to: Nobody. Even idiot cucumber man drove well today.
Race Low Point: Schumi retiring after promising so much in quali

    Your Take on the Race:
Good race for a purist. Would have loved it to rain though. Ultimately, grid position always counts most in Monaco.
My love for the Red cars is Final. My integrity non-negotiable.

The Lewis Hamilton Bonehead Move of the Race Award goes to: Torro Rosso pitting from 7th for inters

Boring race, great drive by both our drivers and Alonso took the WDC lead, job done.

    HONOR ROLL
    Driver of the Race: Alonso
    Honorable Mention: Vettel
Overtaking Move of the Race: Huh?
Race High Point: Ferrari being smart with Nando's pit stop and our continued excellent pit crew performance. Bravo!

    HORROR ROLL
    Driver off the Pace: Button
The Lewis Hamilton Bonehead Move of the Race Award goes to:Pastor Maldonado was bonehead of the week-end without a doubt. It's Monaco so race moves are scarce.
Race Low Point: it's Monaco and it didn't rain. Yawn.

    Your Take on the Race:
As dull as expected really. However, we came out of it with a good performance by both drivers and a 3 point lead in the WDC. I'll take that. Monaco may be a Jewel in the helmet but it's certainly not the "Jewel in the Crown
" of F1. I guess you have to be there and unfortunately for us we were not. Happy for Suzie though

    HONOR ROLL
Driver of the Race: Webber. Control from start to finish.
    Honorable Mention: Alonso, Vettel.
Overtaking Move of the Race: Duh?
Race High Point: Alonso making it to the podium.

    HORROR ROLL
    Driver off the Pace: Button.
The Lewis Hamilton Bonehead Move of the Race Award goes to: Toro Rosso pit strategy.
Race Low Point: Trying to stay awake for the most part of the race.

    Your Take on the Race:
Well it was your typical Monaco, Alonso leading the WDC (if with a smallish margin) is good, Massa making it to good points even better. Too bad that RBR is running away in WCC.

    HONOR ROLL
Driver of the Race: Alonso on the podium from P5
Honorable Mention: Schumacher, I think he would have won the race without that penalty from the previous race
Overtaking Move of the Race: /
    Race High Point: The start

    HORROR ROLL
    Driver off the Pace: Button
The Lewis Hamilton Bonehead Move of the Race Award goes to: Grosjean
Race Low Point: Vettel rejoining in front of Massa, Vettel had no way to go at the start but actually that was his luck today

    Your Take on the Race:
It looks exciting because the drivers are very close to each other but actually nothing happens

    Very happy for Massa.

I think he would have had the same problem even starting from pole so therefore not winning the race

Did MS retire from this race, because of the touch with Grosjean or a completely separate issue all together.

So another DNF for MS, no matter where he started, his bad luck continues.

The record for most DNFs in a season is within the chin's reach. The record breaking is never ending! Him and DeLarosa are still neck and neck at 2 points. Two oldies but goodies!

As always Monaco is boring, hats off for Fernando and Felipe. Looking forward for Canada and new upgrades.
This season will be the "Rosso Corsa" season!
    Fernando is FAster than anyone.
