My Ques:
What what upgrades are ferrari sporting today?
Gpupdate:
A number of upgrades for Ferrari, although the notable ones are the Red Bull-like exhausts and turning vanes which have been rolled out today
Ferrari stopped on the cirquit... Tweet from GPupdate
AUTOSPORT technical consultant Gary Anderson said the changes had the potential to deliver significant gains. "On the sidepods they've put the exhaust pipes into a more conventional position," explained Anderson. "They are not getting any great degree of benefit, but they’re not getting any negatives either, and I think with a troublesome car that’s the best place to get to.
“Because of the way the letterbox exit for the exhaust was being used for a radiator exit they’ve had to compromise a little. They still have a radiator exit there in the new iteration, but it is much narrower and the coke bottle is much better.
“I think what they have done is a reasonable compromise for where they are. They can exploit it further though by getting rid of the radiator, and I think that will be phase two.
“It’s very difficult to quantify the changes in terms of lap time, but I do believe they lost quite a lot of downforce with the letterbox radiator exit system they had. It just isn’t right to feed low speed air from the radiator into an area where you want high-speed flow.
“Potentially you could be looking at two or three tenths from that one change alone."

Thanks Greig for posting that.
So in other words, we're not doing anything special with the exhaust gas in particular.
Looks like the fin on the top radiator has a lump?
RT @andrewbensonf1: No sooner does @alo_oficial go out with the new rear bodywork than he goes off at Turn 12. Not an auspicious start #F1
Alonso damaged front wing and suspension
"If he can't do it with Ferrari, well, he can't do it." - John Surtees
Oh not ideal hopefully a quick fix
Forza Ferrari
why have we stopped? I hope its nothing big..
Ah so Alonso had a moment there. Might be going all out and testing the limits :)
Thankfully it was not Massa driving or this place would be demanding he be sacked for crashing the car....
Forza Ferrari
we shud just plonk in the reserve front wing and get on with it.
Silently, like a shadow
2 hours to fix @insideFerrari
Forza Ferrari
Quick fix please!!!
Please not another Monaco!!
2 hours to repair the damage.
Scuderia Ferrari @InsideFerrari
An off track from Fernando hampered morning's session. At least two hours to repair the damages. It is a shame but that's testing!
ferrari out for 2 hours
Doesn't matter if its Massa or Alonso, 2 hours or how many hours.
The way I see it, this is what we will have for now. We'd better hope it works.
Our competitors are all taking the exhaust solution in different direction. Lets just hope it doesn't give them too much of a gain. Its going to take Ferrari even longer I'd imagine to come up with something like the Red Bull's system
Is turn 12 a high speed corner?
