Even if he has a problem, its probably something electrical and not mechanical.. Or temperatures rising too much or something.. It wont effect his time and his grid slot

I am very happy to see that result because this is the best grid position for us in 2012.Seems we have done a great improvment. But remember there are a few dangerous teams behind us such as Lotus. They can save their tires well and go fast so we must be gain a position with start. Also, tomorrow there may be rain according to weather forecast.Let's hope a fantastic start from Alonso at his homeland again...

Bravo Ferrari! They have one very strong driver that knows how to get the most out of the race car and they have another one that needs to leave the sport and move on. Sad but true! Ferrari needs another top driver to take Massa's place. I say hire Jarno Trulli, immediately! That would be a logical move in the short term. Massa is just not formula One material anymore! Ferrari do not have to be polite or have some kind of special compassion in dismissing Massa. This is a sport about winning and not holding hands. Di Resta could be a wonderful hire as well for the long term. He is of Italian lineage as well. A boost for the team and the Italian market for Fiat! Fernando Alonso has a great chance for tomorrow's race and he is in my eyes, the best on the race track! Forza Fernando! forza Ferrari!

    Ciao.

Why don't you own up to the fact that you jumped the gun with your criticism of ferrari, The only drivers that went faster (in the whole session) than the time set by Alonso were Lewis and maldonado, the fact that some of the others didn't bother running was because they knew they wouldn't be beating the times that were set so it makes sense to save tyres. Today was a good day for ferrari, try and be a fan (if you really are a ferrari fan) and be happy, not put a negative spin on it.

Wooohooo.. What a performance by Alonso. Am absolutely thrilled.

It shows we have made genuine progress over the last 3 weeks. If you look at Massas time, he was not that far back from Nando. Its just that the field is really really closely bunched.

Looking forward to a great race. Hopefully Nando can get one of his electric starts and REALLY HOPING that maldonado doesnt do anything kamikaze at the start.

Fantastic job, Massa had traffic, I don't know if it's a valid excuse. Beware of Maldonado crazyness at the start and also lotus great starts, but also beware of Fernando, the man that makes possible the impossible, such a great asset for Ferrari.

I wanna add that Lewis must be penalized because of his problem. The rules are obvious i think so you must be return to pitlane in time.No matter if this is an issue or not. Finally,i'm sad to see Massa while he is eliminated because he was close to achive at this time and a lot of traffic did effect him

Err.. the difference in times between the 2 in Q2 wasnt that much. Some 5 tenths. Its unfortunate that the field is so closely bunched.
And you seriously cant mean trulli can be a replacement for massa!! I think massa is fine. Lets see how the race pans out.

Hopefully Ramilton will be penalised for stopping the car in the middle of the track and we'll get P2.

I am a fan of course and would love to be proven totally wrong and for ferrari to be a rocket ship, but when Massa, a proven top driver can only qualify 17th, then that is a big problem. Lets see the ferrari race pace. I think they have improved a bit compared to SOME teams, but williams and sauber have improved even more which is pathetic. We should be destroying sauber especially with a driver like Alonso. They are a poor version of ferrari.

Funny that Mac fans think the race is already won
Let's see tomorrow, they didn't look great on hards, so I don't know, they shouldn't be so cocky, especially with Williams, Lotus and Ferrari showing good pace.
