If true this also means in terms of lap time that Ferrari are alot closer to the front of the grid since McCheats were under weight

I hope Alonso gets his usual mega start and leads into the first corner while Maldonado holds everyone else up.

Maldonado is very unexperienced of course in this and Fernando is not the guy you want with you on the first row - I predict jumping Spaniards on the grandstand !!

Hell ya! This was the only logical move after what they have done. I said it, few seconds after I saw what happened. Their trickery was too obvious!

Thinking further - this is not an easy circuit to overtake....and where are the guys who are higher on points in the championship? Fernando's day could become very interesting tomorrow.

Just watched the qualifying hour...one of the best Q3's I've seen in ages, only to turn even better now that we've moved up to 2nd with Alonso
Harsh result for Hamilton, at the end of the day it's the teams responsibility to put the fuel in the car, not the driver so the punishment should be more so on the team, still he did gain a time advantage from it. Confidence is sky high for the race tomorrow

All that technology, all those laptops monitoring the Maclaren all the hype about how they leave nothing to chance and they forget the fuel level, LMAO

It is funny how Mclaren seem to pride themselves on how they are such a meticulous and technologically advanced team yet they can not even screw a wheel nut on a car or put the right amount of fuel in for qualifying.

    Hamilton.
Have to say I feel for him in a way as it is not his fault. His team messed it up big time for him.

Yes! Justice. Now let's disqualify all those who stop their car just across the finish line at the end of the race.
