I have a bad feeling about this.
Any news on Alo's engine ?

Has Ferrari confirmed that there was a problem during Q3?
F1 show biz 2016 :
Toto - "Ferrari are a real threat" .... Nico - "Awesome, everything is just awesome" .....Lulu - "Mental strength man, lifestyle man, I'll drive at 400% as ever man".... and then suddenly a wild Bull out of nowhere slams into a Ferrari.
If there were any doubts, I'd rather have an engine change than a DNF...
I'm away al day at my sons football tournament so will watch it tonite, hopefully move up positions and get both cars into top 5/6.
I have a bad feeling about this race, let's hope I'm wrong.
The lowest step on podium is still free. Not going to be easy, but not impossible either. At least 20 points to Ferrari today I guess.
As long as the two Merc's takes each other out, i would not mind the rest.
Let the team mate war commence at Mercedes
“The Ferrari is a dream - people dream of owning this special vehicle and for most people it will remain a dream apart from for those lucky few.” ~ Enzo Ferrari
As usual the evil Fernando has just tweeted two highly politically motivated photos of himself.
1. With large crowd of ecstatic fans - clearly designed to drive other drivers to despair over his clear advantage in the popularity stakes
2. Yet another photo of his legs and feet watching football yes football, on TV in his hotel room! Well, we all know what that implies don’t we?
I was strangely uplifted watching the Sky ‘scoop’ from Mark Hughes regarding the innovative layout under the Mercedes bonnet and particularly the power unit. I can only think that Fer’s problems in quali were a result of his engineers taking saws to the engine to cut it up the middle and re-arrange all the little bits and bobs around it to emulate the Mercs of Ham and Ros.
Hence the great man’s seemingly poor result. But wait till the race and you will see just how clever and Machiavellian that swift piece of engineering was!
Oh dear…..
Back to bed I think.
Forza Ferrari
Being dragged to a wedding today. However ghastly the prospect of that, it's probably the first GP I'll really not mind missing.
Murphy's Law: Ferrari 1-2, seeing as I'm not watching! [that's optimism for you!]
Trying to be less angry..
Rosberg is going to pull away in his championship lead if Lewis doesn't do anything about it, so hopefully they fight each other hard
In all seriousness, they both are mature enough to ensure they bring home a 1-2.
I can only see a damage limitation race for us, just bring home as many points as we can and live to fight another day.
Is this actual recent info about possible KR gearbox problems?

My godness I hope it's fake.
Bad news! :(

UPDATE: Power Unit problems for Kimi Raikkonen, not gearbox. We'll keep you updated as soon as we get more info. #Formula1 #F1
Ferrari have removed the power unit from Kimi's car for checks. Race is in 3 hours so plenty of time to fix. #F1 #Formula1
Come on Ferrari guys!

There is still 3h left I hope they can fix it...I am really looking forward to Kimi's race today. He can even reach podium.
I hope it's nothing major, but the good thing is a gearbox cannot be changed without getting penalty, but you can actually change the PU without any penalty so long as you do not exceed the limit. If needed to, the team will change the PU and figure out the problem later.
You guys were right with bad feelings...

So apparently they already reassembled the car. Must have been a few electronic glitches. Kimi good to race. #F1 #Formula1

Fernando Alonso also had electronic problems in his Ferrari during Q2 and they worsened in Q3. Problems fixed now. #F1 #Formula1
Is this PitLaneTalk a reliable source ?
3 hours is not a lot of time to fix engine issues. Remember for this year any work of that nature takes longer to complete by the mechanics. The cars are new, more complex, more systems can fail so it takes longer to find, understand and rectify the problem. But we do have very good mechanics.
Absolutely fantastic "HD" crystal clear stream. Holy moly. http://squirrelstreams.com/
