How awful for Marussia and Ferrari to have to go through this again.

Good luck Jules ... I will avoid to keep my fingers crossed as it brought nothing but trouble the last days ...

Heard it was an awful crash. Bianchi's car crashed into a crane allegedly!

Really shocked when just a few days ago I was at their team's headquarters. Everyone was in such a great mood there.

My thoughts and prayers are with him but this cannot be good. Cranes are not designed to take F1 car impacts.

Hoping for some positive news too. At the very least I wish to hear that he is out of any life threatening condition before the end of today.

Today nothing matters in F1. No win, no podium, only Jules, and that's how it should be.
For fans it is the same. I wish and pray that Jules will fully recover.

OMG that is serious! They must airlift him to a proper hospital in Nagoya. This Mia hospital looks somewhat local...

A horrible day for any tifoso, Felipe, Michael and now Jules, if only we could say something to make it better, but our thoughts are with him and his family, praying for some positive news. Forza Jules.

Hoping fr some positive news in the next 24hrs. I guess the fact he s having an operation is itself positive in that it means there is some hope that He has something which may possibly be fixed. Thoughts and prayers with Jules and his family.

FIA: CT scan shows Bianchi has suffered a severe head injury, and is currently undergoing surgery. He will then be moved to Intensive Care.

    Allez Jules.

French TV are saying that Jules was put on a respirator before transit. Obviously I can't vouch for there accuracy.

    Absolutely horrible accident

Lets all pray for Jules now!

With these kind of injuries one can only hope for the best....the first 24 hours are the most critical, if he comes through that, there is at least a slightly bigger chance of survival.
How desperate must his family feel now. Such a young kid, I mean, he is about the same age as my sons (27 and 23). I hope and pray his parents may get him back as the son he was before this. F1 is totally unimportant now.

I hope he makes a quick recovery because there is a seat in a red car waiting for him in the near future.

Hopefully he will be back next year, would hate for him to loose a race seat but he must also take time to recover nothing is more important than his health at this time
Interviewer: “The helmet has a special meaning for many drivers. How important is it to you?”
    Kimi: “It protects my head.”
