KROHN RACING TO TOP OF CHARTS IN PRACTICE 2 AT SEBRING
Krohn Racing went to the top of the charts in Thursday afternoon’s second TUDOR United SportsCar Championship practice for the 63rd Mobil 1 Twelve Hours of Sebring Fueled by Fresh From Florida.
Olivier Pla led the one-hour session with a lap of 1:52.731 in the No. 57 Krohn Racing Ligier JS PE/Judd. Second in the Prototype class was Ozz Negri, running 1:53.554 in the No. 60 Tire Kingdom Service Centers Ligier JS P2/Honda.
BMW Team RLL led GTLM for the second straight practice. This time, it was the No. 24 IHG Rewards Club BMW Z4 GTLM driven by John Edwards with a lap of 1:59.859.
Rolex 24 At Daytona winner Tom Kimber-Smith was fastest in Prototype Challenge, running 1:57.130. Leading GTD was Andrew Davis in the No. 22 WeatherTech Racing Porsche 911 GT America, running 2:04.840.
Thursday’s activities will conclude with a one-hour, 30-minute night session beginning at 7:15 p.m.
Friday’s schedule is highlighted by qualifying beginning at 4:20 p.m. The 63rd Mobil 1 Twelve Hours of Sebring Fueled by Fresh From Florida takes the green flag at 10:40 a.m. on Saturday.
