"If I was driving for Red Bull [from 2008] probably I would have more championships, but because they were dominating between 2010 and 2014 probably I would never have driven for Ferrari. I am very happy and very proud to drive for Ferrari, all my time there.
Mclaren engine change!! No more running today.
ENGINE PROBLEM ENDS DAY FOR MCLAREN
McLaren is done for the day. An engine problem has ended the day prematurely. The MGU-K has failed and an engine change is needed.

Ferrari: new aerodynamic and engine in Barcelona
Ferrari goes to Barcelona for the second session of collective testing with the intention to confirm the good things shown in the debut of Jerez with refreshed Kimi Raikkonen in front of everyone.
There will be two lines of development that will be carried out on the SF15-T: the attention of engineers, in fact, focus on aerodynamics and power unit. Some aerodynamic modifications will be easily visible, but will not yet be part of the "package" that Melbourne will be approved for the first round of the World 2015: among other things there will be a doubling of "horns" on the sides of the muzzle?
At the level of the engine, however, will try to put some in the car "tokens" to verify that the development solutions that are turning over the counter may also earn promotion from the runway. Men of Mattia Binotto, in fact, have to decide which engine to act within Thursday, March 12, that is, the day of the checks of the Australian GP, to start the season and define how many tokens you can keep in his pocket to play in ... the course of the championship.
FERRARI FOR EVER !!!!!!!
I thought Whelrlein was Merc's test driver? Or has the car developed a bug too?
I see Pascal Wehrlein is now in the Merc. Would have been stupid of them if they did not placed him in the car, but then again it is Mercedes so you don't know what Arnie decides.

Honda has confirmed it will need to redesign a component that stopped its running early on the opening day of the second test.
Jenson Button completed 21 laps in the MP4-30 before having to stop, with Honda discovering an issue with the MGU-K. With a faulty seal the cause of the issue, Honda's Yasuhisa Arai says the part will need to be redesigned, with Saturday the earliest a replacement will be ready.
“We had to stop running this morning after discovering a faulty seal on the MGU-K," Arai said. "That faulty part then caused an issue that requires full replacement of the power-unit - and the time needed to make those changes effectively ends today’s programme.
“We’ll need to run a re-designed component to avoid a potential repeat of the problem. Unfortunately, we won’t be in possession of that updated part until Saturday, which means that we may face the same problem when we run again tomorrow.
“Such issues are all part of testing, but we’ll make the best changes we can overnight, and will plan for a productive day of running - with Fernando behind the wheel - tomorrow.
"Hopefully, with a bespoke solution ready for Saturday, both drivers will have an opportunity to get some useful laps under their belts, with Jenson driving on Saturday, and Fernando concluding the test on Sunday.”

just got this ......
Raikkonen follows that, after a slow-down lap, with a 1:27.141 to open up a near two tenths advantage at the head of the order. The Ferrari's on an unmarked set of tyres for this run.

13:25
Speaking to some people in the paddock this morning there is a growing feeling that the Ferrari pace is genuine and not 'glory runs' as the Scuderia continue to top the pre-season timesheets.
Raikkonen's certainly on it - the Finn suddenly uncorks a 1:25.598 on his latest return to the track to go fastest by 1.6s! Sergio Perez, meanwhile, is also circulating quickly and drops down into the 1:26s himself to go second fastest.
Well, well, well...On hard.
I have yet to see any new aero parts on the car in the available photos. The bardge boards are the same as the last test:
I wonder how Massa and Bottas feel seeing Susie Wolff testing today, with limited testing every hour is crucial. For me this is Toto Wolff having a political say and this is part of the Mereceds engine package.
