yesterday leo turrini had a chat with luca baldisseri former schumi track engineer who's no more member of the scuderia since january but still have close relationships with key members among the team.
Baldisseri tell him this is not a secret that the simulator data of the new car are really good.
He said there is a very good atmosphere in the team and it should be a very very close battle with mercedes!
Just wait and see!

That Autosprint image of the 2016 car makes it look fat and ugly, a bit like me. Let's hope it doesn't turn out like that, too much black and rather messy with an unfortunate nose, although nothing could be worse than the duck-bill F14-T in that respect!

Wow thats nice.
I do not mind black in the coke bottle zone as when coloured it can make that area look fat. See the black on the Mercs make their coke bottle zone look smaller than it really is. I wouls add black front and rear wingd and gold wheels to your design plus the old blue Fiat logo but saying F16T instead so 90's retro.

Off topic but not wanting to start a new thread: what F1 sites do you all use? Mine are Autosport, ESPN, Crashnet, PlanetF1 (not great any more), Grandprix247.
Crashnet/motogp is also better than the official Motogp site which is now just a waste of time unless you're a paid up member.

this is what i got from my wife today on my birthday....oh and she delivered it to my work place and left it at reception....I was REALLY surprised to say the least

oh, and she also ordered me personalized licence plates for my 2012 GTI....it will say F1 CRAZY.....i cannot wait until i receive THOSE and "slap" them on my car

According leo turini, the new car will have a filming day sunday 21 at montmelo.
24 hours before the beginning of officials tests.
Clever move to check the cooling i presume!

Great news. I was wondering why only Merc will use their film day before the test begin. It should help prep a little before the actual test begin.

Yes. Them and Sauber will have the 16 PU. Now having said that, it probably won't be 100% identical, or they will have a slightly older spec fuel + oil from shell, but what they will have will be much closer to our spec, than what STR will get.
