    That's no surprise because merc's car is an evolution from last year's car and our car is basically brand-new with a lot of new parts, so the team is just taking it a bit easier right now to make sure everything works properly.

    They always do, but we won three times last year and after 2 days F16-H looks really good. Better engine, better aero, handling and no kids behind the wheel :)

    .6 second is not that big of a gap tbh...Expected more 1 second considering PU. Thats .9 second slower then Merc last year on softs. Not sure I like this...

    we dont know if anyone's pushin though. If they push a good time will be low 1:21s or high 1:20s for ferrari to say we made a good progress taking in mind that last year's best time was on 1:22:7

    Vet could improve his laptime as its just a initial lap. As far as everyone or I'm concerned, I'm very happy with progress so far except the lap count. I think Ferrari is doing quali sim, that's the reason lap count is less. Next two days we can see the race sims may be with Kimi in the seat.

    I dont think they did any kind of Quali-Run. They just wanted to test how the car behaves with softer tires and how big is the wear etc...no pushing for times, no glory runs nothing at all guys :)

    12:45 Shortly before the lunch break let Red Bull and Ferrari a little bit down the pants. Vettel was fastest in all three sectors. And now he tries again. Fastest time during the first part.
    This is big though. All 3 sectors are aero heavy, but S2 and S3 have no big straights so its impressive we are this fast.
