Leclerc's 19 points advantage over Vettel is a bit unfair, it should've been much bigger. Last race Leclerc got robbed off the second place because of Vettel, lost race wins in Sinapore and Russia without doing anything wrong. Plus the engine problem in Bahrain, Max's bonehead move in Austria, team orders in favor of Vettel etc etc.

Safe to say, Leclerc will be even stronger next year, afterall this is his only 2nd year in F1.

    Spot on !

He's learning pretty quick i might add. This enormous pressure he has on his shoulders to show Ferrari that hes got what it takes to be in the team is BIG!......So big ups to him!

Next year in gonna be way different for him!

And please bring Dani Ric for next year , thanks ( not asking for much here )
Drive it like you stole it!

Yes, Leclerc is already Championship material. If the car is good and the Team have proper strategies, next year will be even better for him.

    Vettel vs Leclerc

It's 6-6 in quali when you take out Baku (Leclerc crash), Monaco (Q1 strat error), France (Seb issue with gearbox), Austria (Seb didn't do Q3 due to engine), Germany (Seb didn't set time and Leclerc didn't in Q3), Italy (shitshow), Mexico (Seb impeded in Q3 yellow flag).

Also 11-6 in races due to: (Seb retirement in Russia and USA with reliability) and in Brazil they both made contact and retired. He was faster in Brazil that weekend as well.

So you can add up +18 or 25 points in Russia and +12 or 15 in US for Seb if he finished.

That's 260 at minimum for Seb and 249 for Charles (you can also add +7 in Bahrain for Charles and +7 for Seb in Canada)

    267 - 257

If Seb wins in Russia and gets a podium in US that would be:

    277 - 257

Suddenly you have much different results.

Question to the knowledgeable crowd here: In case Seb is instructed to sit out in next and final race, who would be a possible candidate to take his spot? Kimi, Gio or somebody else?

Give GIO a chance, he's getting better all the time, and put Pascal or Brendan in the Alfa!

I doubt GIO will get a chance to drive for Ferrari anytime soon. I think Ferrari will stick with SEB & LEC for atleast 2 years. 2020 is a done deal for both. 2021 will be the first year with new regs, so I doubt we will see major driver swaps. Teams & drivers will stick with the known and then start swapping in 2021 depending on which team is the fastest under the new regs.

Vettel’s only glory this season was Singapore and that too was handed to him on a plate for WCC points sake

Not Vettel's fault if Leclerc can't lap faster.

Oh he certainly was faster, just in case you forgot, Pole position. Ferrari took that call to make 1-2 and not 1-3. And btw 7 pole position compared to 1

To add to that, no mention of team orders, no mention of Russia back stab and Italy was a "no swearing please you ALL know the forum rules"

Seb is still faster in race pace for the entire season (maybe just Monza, Spa) not, period. In qualy they are equal on pace.

Seb strike back my friend!!!!!!!!! You are the most humble 4 time world champion and nobody will take that away from you and more than 50 wins. Not some grumpy haters with no life.
