I think TR only came to the Ferrari engine side to sneak information to Renault and RBR on how to improve. If we would have given them 2016 engine, RBR would have fought with Mercedes for world title

The TR chassis seems pretty good this year, so it may have resulted in RB and TR ahead of us if they'd had this year's Ferrari engine!! And I always wondered whether it was a good idea supplying an RB-affiliated team with any Ferrari engine, even a year old one, it's a bit of a conflict of interest IMO.
