"We'll fit a new engine and I don't think it will be a big difference, but obviously we have some things planned," Vettel told reporters on Thursday.

so it wont be a big difference, Vettel says it was planned

"Although he had used only two main engines in the season's opening nine rounds, he has used four turbochargers and MGU-Hs - meaning he is almost certain to take a grid penalty when fifth elements are inevitably used later in the year.

By contrast, closest rival Hamilton has only used two of each component so far this year."

I really hoped the engine would be a "big upgrade" aw well, tiny upgrade is better than no upgrade

Won't the shield get as dirty or dirtier then the tear offs which can be removed. Needs to be a cage system nothing solid because in the rain it will be a nightmare. They just need to get all the little small bits that come off to easy removed. I saw in the electric series and indy their wheel covers come off so easy and are like missiles and they go straight at the drivers head.

Have you ever waxed your windshield and driven in the rain......not drizzle but in the rain at 60mph. You don't need windshield wipers; at least I don't. Your windshield looks like

tadpoles running up along the windshield and its clear. Now a downpour, thats different but F1 won't race in a downpour where it rains buckets. Try it.

Sadly yes. Many times I ask myself why Pirelli is even bothering making rain tires?!?!

I think we will only see the tiny difference for ferrari in Quali, seb said there is hardly any difference.

I'm not sure about mercs upgrading there engine, they haven't mentioned it yet on tv, although they are the best at keeping it secret and getting the best results

In my tv (canalf1 Latinoamérica), they have been saying a lot about the merc engine upgrade, they said it was a reliability upgrade so they can use more time their Q3 pace on the race .

I think both are running new PU, in FP1 and 2
    They need to check reliability

Vettel said something like they are not running it at peak power.

10bhp seems low, almost negligible in terms of performance, that is not enough to even change the laps times by more than 1/10 a second or less.
