If it's any consolation, people have been posting pics on twitter of trucks from various F1 teams on the road headed to Belgium as of yesterday.

I'm sure twitter traffic/photos will pic up tomorrow and in the coming days.

I'm wanting to start a Spa "incoming news" thread already.

I said "I think" not "I know", as in I think judging by the previous races with this kind of pressure where Merc had the upper hand.
But working for Ferrari would be a dream, cheers mate

    There is still hope!

If everything works (as planned) we might be stronger than some would think in Spa/Monza.

High pressure favours mercs, low pressure favour Ferrari. It's known fact as we saw in FP1 of Monaco & baku, Ferrari struggled. In FP2 they decreased tyre pressure, mercs struggled n Ferrari were ahead.

By looking at the above article, 2nd half seems to be more promising & 2018 car too. Hope everything termed to be legal without any issues.

In 2 words the article of F1AT:
F1AT reports that Ferrari tested a new floor/diffuser and, "with big success", a new (not hydraulic) suspension to improve aero efficiency.

Im just worried about Pirelli and tyres pressure, that could be crucial for WDC

    Hi Stefa,

Sadly not this year. But the coverage on TV is good and besides I don't want to sit between the orange horde .

    New floor:
    DIAdfKCWsAE2wrN.jpg
... and new suspension tested in Hungary (check the 3rd upper element on the left side vs the old configuration in the right)
    036-017_FRONT_SUSPENSION.jpg
Supposedly, the new suspension layout should allow us to manage the rake on the straights (decrease the rake in order to gain top speed)
Also some info about the new PU which will be tested by Haas in Spa (while we should use it in Monza)...
    https://it.motorspor...teriore-944139/

"The positive effects of these changes are also reverberate on the engine: the less resistance, in fact, in addition to allowing higher maximum speeds, saves fuel. Zimmerman's engines are, in fact, preparing power unit number 4 (which will be tested in Belgium by the Haas) with steel alloy pistons instead of the more traditional aluminum alloy jerks, as there is a significant increase in room pressure Of combustion and therefore of power."

Wonder if this is linked with the new suspension system that is supposed to control the rake on the straights in order to boost top speed...

Wow thats very impressive from Ferrari that they brought so many updates. In last years this was not the case. Hope all the things will work.

Forza Ferrari, I am optimistic and I dont why. Its just my "gut feeling".
