Legal or not, it looks like a broken coat hanger. I don't wish anyone/any team ill will, so for them I hope it works. But I was really hoping for more from the '17 regulations

After reading a couple of articles, the perception is they MIGHT run with a sail/shark fin come Melbourne. That T-bar is wierd looking though.

Yeah, just read about it, it sucks. Guess there's no escaping that hideous shark fin.

maybe it's like the Mercedes' T-wing solution.

Well, some one of the teams were saying the cars at testing will be different from the launch & what you see at Melbourne will again be different. So I'm not going to get overly excited/disappointed about this or that aero tidbit.

Looks like it grew some "ears" right above the front suspension mounting points?

Car looks great. It also looks infinitely shorter than the Mercedes. Very nimble in comparison. Wouldn't be surprised if we see some huge differences at places like Monaco.

Think the McLaren looks great. Apparently slightly more red in person, than on the studio shots. But a nice livery, and a nice design.

It has been commented that it doesn't look as intricate as Ferrari or Mercedes.

Not bothering to post Mclaren pics, it looks rather unassuming. And that livery...

And, not only they still have to find that elusive title sponsor, they're losing some: Sensodyne is gone. As predicted, Castrol is just a supplier and doesn't even figure in the car (at least I haven't seen any sticker)

The car looks mean, with some cool solutions of their own... But that colour. It is too far on the brown-side of orange. Plz let it be the studio lighting cause I no likie.

Looks like they designed it in an hour hopefully it's as slow as it looks.

Could have a lot less black, IMHO. Will be interesting to see whether it is an improvement.

The McLaren's floor looks like a solid lump of carbon fibre... Could be a display version only, but definitely not as intricate as the Ferrari

They hide the rear diffuser on the launch of the Mclaren MCL32 video:
