Four teams - Red Bull, Haas, Toro Rosso and certainly McLaren - will all surely have had quieter mornings out on track than they would have liked.

None of the four have yet reached 10 laps with their respective new cars.

Because everything on their bodywork looks more detailed and refined. Look at the difference in the nose and rear wing areas. Ours looks very basic in comparison.

SkyF1 testing coverage is abysmal. Ridiculous, appalling. There is one photo of a Ferrari. Nothing else is there about Ferrari. Mercedes is everywhere.
Talking about balanced reporting. If anyone from sky, please tell them, they are loosing fans because of the appalling coverage.

Ferrari imposed a news black out until Wednesday, so we won't hear from the drivers...

I'm pretty sure nobody can evaluate aero performance by looking at a car.
Since turbo era, it seems that aero is not the holy grail anymore. RB has made huge progress last year with their suspension alone.

The Ferrari SF70-H is back circulating the Circuit de Catalunya again, with Sebastian Vettel, still on the medium tyres, lapping in the low 1:24s.

Or, at least he had been, as the German has just clocked a new fastest first sector of all......although the lap ends up a tenth adrift of his earlier 1:23.560 effort.

Nothing has changed. The last 2 days on their website, the main headline was the video to the Mercedes car on track. Its ok SkyF1, dont worry about all the other cars that have been presented in the past few days. They are a joke and as long as Lewis is there they will continue to be a joke.

Haas has to start lapping. It could be good to have more laps to check our engine.

Not quite. Mercedes set their time at the beginning of an 18 lap run. Imagine if they trimmed it down to quali mode.

Maybe we should hire Lewis only as third driver for Ferrari ... to please SkyF1 :)

right now, i am more concerned about the number of laps than the times. we must keep on racking the laps as to also test the reliability of the engine.

Ferrari looking twitchy in the last set of slow corners leading to the main straight...

    F1 show biz 2016 :
Toto - "Ferrari are a real threat" .... Nico - "Awesome, everything is just awesome" .....Lulu - "Mental strength man, lifestyle man, I'll drive at 400% as ever man".... and then suddenly a wild Bull out of nowhere slams into a Ferrari.

    My sentiments exactly.
Even more so since Sauber is using the 2016 engine so their laps count for nothing...

A new fastest time of the day...and it's that Mercedes W08 again.

Valtteri Bottas lowers his own benchmark to 1:23.169.

I suppose it's understandable for them to follow British interests for their main audience. If you followed German TV during the World Cup you would think no other nation existed!

Today's lap count by power unit:
    Mercedes - 82 Laps
    Ferrari - 63 Laps
    Renault - 40 Laps
    Honda - 1 Lap
Damn and 21 of those Ferrari laps are from the 2016 spec engine...

It's normal. There is a joke in Poland with Kubica, when he rode with BMW Sauber:

There is the Pope in the TV and someone walks i the room and asks:
    - Who is it?
    - Benedict 13
    - Really? And what is Kubica's place?

it is totally understandable, but there are moments throught the coverage where your are like, "are you serious???? Theres alot more goin on besides Lewis right now!!!" You will find that you will have too many of these kinda moments, Sky just over do it with him too much imo
