16:32 We now also have confirmation that the Raikkonen off at Turn 3 was caused by a spin. - autosport
we have seen this spin causing problems in last year races too...
16:36 Ferrari stripping down the car after that Raikkonen off. No indication yet that the car suffered a failure. Some damage to the front suspension. Ferrari not sure yet whether the car will be repaired in time to run again before the end of the day. - autosport
RB mad-max doing long runs.
Thanks a lot for the nice pics Tifosi1993
Drive it like you stole it!
It's race sims and quali sims left for Ferrari now. Isn't that a lot of work to try and cram into 2 days? If they nail those then the team will definitely be favourite for both titles.
They have a video clip of Raikkonens crash on F1TODAY.NET.
I don't know how to attached that crap, so if anybody is kind enough to post it on here, that would be great
Drive it like you stole it!
speaking of quali sims, do you guys think that our engine already have something similar to Mercedes' quali engine modes?
Kimi/Ferrari are done for the day
Did Kimi open DRS in turn 3? I'm kind of half joking, but also kind of half wondering if he did
Perhaps they should split tomorrow/day after running between the two drivers like merc do. Seb alone will be really exhausted to cover so much mileage again.
Sounds like either the engine quit or something broke because (gearbox, suspension, engine...) right before he spins, you hear the engine wind down. I don't think the drivers have to lift in that corner which is what I am also basing my assumption off of. Either way, great video and lucky shot. Maybe more will pop up today on youtube or something.
I thought the same myself, maybe in exchange for allowing BOT to go to Merc, Williams have managed to get some inside info from Merc, it would also make Merc less vulnerable from Ferrari and Red Bull to have another Merc-engined car at the front. Just a thought, but I'm pleased to see Felipe going well. Not a great day for us today, but so far it's been promising and I'm glad Ferrari are keeping fairly quiet about their expectations.
so here is the youtube video of the same vid for those that cannot see the twitter feed:

Maybe I am wanting to see it, but it looks like he is glancing at the rear of the car as he walks away.
