10:24 Vettel sparks his way down the main straight and crosses the line in 1m22.031s. A personal best middle sector on the medium tyres, but slightly slower overall.
short stint on the medium tyre: 1:22.0, 1:21.7, 1:21.9, 1:22.6, 1:22.9 and 1:23.4
Guys, does anyone have a clue what happened to Ferrari's new parts that were brought last night. Is there some new parts on the car this morning?
Yep, same goes for Ham on the medium: 1:28.1, 1:21.8, 1:29.0, 1:26.6, 1:22.9, 1:22.6, 1:23.7, 1:25.7 and 1:22.1.

FERRARI FOR EVER !!!!!!!
Scrolled through some pictures of today and also can't spot any difference.
Vettel Ferrari SF70-H 1:19.341 on softs matching Bottas time but it wasn't on softs
Vettel top
Does anyone know the fastest time set on soft tyres during test 1 or 2?
No, much smaller.

Bottas did 1.19:3 on SS and Massa did 1.19:4 on US while Seb doing 1.19:3 on Softs. That's encouraging.
Disappointing; 2009 to 2016...
Slightly digressing, McLaren cancelled a planned press co ference between bouilier and honda engine boss, seems like the relationship is at breaking point.
Boom take that 1:19.341
After a cool-down lap, Vettel clocks another rapid time: 1:19.434
I love how we can do low 1.19 with ease while McLaren struggling in 1.22's

That's seriously quick from Seb. Even if that's our maximum, that's a quick lap. This is more like Formula 1 again.
It is for sure we are fast, what my biggest concern is, will the car work in the race with different cars/hot air around them etc.? Like Mercs had last year. They also use a lot of flaps and have a very complex car.
There is still much more room for improvement; Ferrari for the first time in many years went back to bases 'we are Le Ferrari' so I still see further improvement . All I hope for is a good engine reliability this year and Luck on our side, but i guess if we are in the top two all the time we won't have people crashing into our car.
If only we could see what we can do on a long stint with soft tyres... Mercs have done little running on Mediums and I am wondering if they are trying to get milage on the softs, because they expect that to be their main race tyre. There is still clearly a lot of performance in the Merc, but we are looking really good so far.
Forza Ferrari Sempre
Vettel goes purple in sectors one and two, but does not improve on his overall time
