Α small difference. Last year they use to say thay we are competitive , they are watching us and we might cause them some trouble.
This year is the first time that they actually point us as the favourite!!!
I m not saying that we actually are.Just pointing the difference in their statements.
    FERRARI FOR EVER !!!!!!!

Like most others here, I impressed this year we are keeping a low profile, not making any wild predictions and best of all getting the big lap counts and data that we so much need before racing starts. I'm also liking how we don't feel the need to try and be top of the time sheets every test day.

Stick to the plan Ferrari and lets get back where we should be this year and put a smile on all our faces.

10:10 Verstappen improves his lap to a 1:22.170 on the medium compound, two thousands of a second faster than his previous personal best. - F1today

10:10 Verstappen has improved on this run on soft tyres, getting down to a 1m22.170s. - Autosport

& he pits on short 3lap run.

been wondering, if some people are saying that the teams are sandbagging, then how on earth would they know if the car, engine and its parts, are reliable for the coming season. i mean, you can be conservative yeah if you have known issues and you want to have some running at least (see Mclaren-Honda), but if none, then why not turn up the wick till the engine gives up on you..

Not sure but I think it is all about correlation between the car on track and the simulator. If it is 100% correct you can test it at maximum in the factory? Engines can be stretched on benches in factory also

They (engine/PU) get bench tested under FIA regs without certain components....then come testing they test everything all together for reliablity purposes and issues...hence the focus on laps these testing days plus aero tweaks.

To be quite honest, I don't understand all the negativity towards Marchionne's statements from last year.
I mean, the man is the CEO of the team with most wins in the history of F1, and at the same time the most famous carmaker in the world, what was he supposed to say, "Mamma mia, I hope we get a few points here and there, and, if we're quite lucky, maybe one or two podiums"? Please

Last week's test went OK, and the same yesterday. Does this mean they tried new brakeducts today?

    Thank you for the link.
Its great idea with the heat sink on the floor. Finally, something very innovative from our team! Go Ferrari!

Maybe the heavy ERS battery is located into the floor, for lower center of gravity?
