he did the same poking at the RBR.. so does that mean???

i think he's just that competitive and trying to see if he can get something from other cars.

I think Lewis used his tyres more in S1 as he had all purples, during the end of the lap less purples, Bottas and Vettel were slower in S1 but had more purples between them for S2 and S3

Also Seb made a mistake in turn 1.

strategy will definitely be a big factor tomorrow as we all know that there is a possibility of a one stop strategy.

I also think Seb saved the tyres for S2 and S3

I be honest when I seen Kimi cross the line 7-8th's behind LH pole time I thoughtit was going to be a long season, when Vettel crossed the line and was within 0.3sec I was so relieved.

Good job! Very promising, I'm not sure what happened to Kimi though.

Vettel says he could have got a little more out of the car: "OK guys, I lost a bit in Turn 1 [and] Turn 9 I tried a little bit too hard - anyway, I'm not sure it would have been enough. Great job.

don't worry about Kimi, there's a good chance he will be able to jump Bottas at the start. (talk about personal rivalry)

Red Bull probably didn't expect the gap to be this big to Merc and Ferrari.

Surely it can't all be the engine.

don't count them off yet, we all know how good they are in developing their car towards the middle of the season.

I wonder how big the gap will be when we come to more pure racing tracks

Not counting them out, I thought they be better prepared i.e not starting on the back foot. I think the aero is not as good as Mercs/Ferrari at the moment.

If Seb can jump Lewis at start then win will be easily possible as he is the best to control race from lead

New clutches this season.. The start might catch some drivers out.

    Then there is the strategy...

Still the front wing seems more developed on merc/Red Bull compared to ours....and their nose is more sleek.

Exciting times! I'm hopeful that Ferrari can repeat our successful starts from 2016 (the only part of 2016 we did particularly well) and lead into turn 1. What a great start! I lost my bet for Seb to be on pole - I just gotta win the bet for him to win the race!
