If Ferrari have the faster car and Vet is on for win, Kimi needs to back him off and go for 2nd as we can't have Lewis second.

Let's hope this extra pressure on Merc causes a component failure as they have not been pushed like it past few years

At the end of the day we lost our best opportunity to win the race in china because until Kimi is mathematically out of the equation to win the WDC he won't let Vet pass.

Just read Hamster said that Bahrains long straights will help the Mercs keep the advantage over Ferrari because the Mercedes guys still have the strongest Power-unit on the grid.

:( Nooo lol just when global warming wanted to help us

if he thinks in that way, china too has long straight. come to quali, it was just .18ths difference. that too ferrari running with more downforce compared to mercs & RB.

I think on sheer grunt, the merc is still ahead. Plus their aero is better (they didnt need to run that much down force in china). We are prbly just a hint behind them in quali (though i think in race trim we are faster)
So i think till our next upgrade, we need to make the best of the situation like we did in OZ.

Still the best year since 2010. Lots to look forward to.

funny fact : first two races RB made the difference winning or loosing.
1st race: Ham struck behind Max.
2nd race: Kimi & Vet struck behind Ric.

These bulls are making more noise.

Agreed! Finally excited about F1 again, whilst i wished we were the guys throwing down the challenge, im glad we are closer than we have been previous years. I hope we implement some small *tweak :P that gives us the pure grunt as you said to be even faster than the Mercedes.

"What didn't appear to make any sense was why they left Kimi [Raikkonen] that long [on the first set of softs], because he sort of ended up in no-man's land. To get our car ahead of a Ferrari and a Mercedes is a good day's work.

At the moment, for RBR, it is. They didnt expect to be challenging Ferrari and Merc, so they have actually done well.
In fact, they are a scary team we should be very wary of. If that Renault engine starts improving, we will have a problem on our hands.

Am guessing that tweak is coming around Canada.
