[QUOTE=Seb;951422]Exactly. Most fans here firmly believe that Seb along with Lewis can only win with a top car. It's not their driving that gets the wins. Kimi is 49 pts. ahead of Verstappen and just one point out of 4th. His success is his driving certainly not his car. Leclerc will benifit big time along side Kimi, Whereas as the fans agree here that watching a driver in a top car win is just that. The car!
Kimi confirmed for next year as expected
oh dear, no.. just no. :(
We can't win the WCC with one top driver and one that's sometimes good 'if' he's not asleep.
Sensible decision.
If that's what it takes to keep Seb, probably a good decision, Kimi has been a loyal team player but he has to be awake more of the time and step up to Seb's pace. Unless Seb has other ideas......!
Was hoping Vettel & Leclerc for Ferrari next year lol, oh well, hopefully seb signed multi years or something hopefully 2019 Vettel & Leclerc combo
A solid decision. Let's all celebrate :D
"If someone said to me that you can have three wishes, my first would have been to get into racing, my second to be in Formula 1, my third to drive for Ferrari" - Gilles Villeneuve
Great news. LeClerc needs a full season in Sauber before joining us.
Good news in my book. I love to see Kimi in a Ferrari, as long as he still has the speed.
If he performs like he's done that last few races than good decision but I doubt it he's under performed in 3 of the 4 years since he returned in 2014 doesnt deserve a 5th year IMO
Remains to be seen what the length of Vettel's contract is should he sign one in the first place.
[QUOTE=Brembo;951423]
I've never seen the driver who can win without a "top car". Remind me how many titles and races Alonso won for Minardi?
Your stuff on Kimi vs Seb is incoherent and contradictory. They drive the same car, yet you're claiming that Kimi's "success" is all down to him and not his car, while Seb's much greater success is due to the car and not him?
These news mean - we could easy forget about WCC until 2019!
BRAVO!
Horrible decision!
close this thread as Kimi has resigned. So until sometime next year we see new thread opening.
