It's a 1m31.310s on super-softs from Vettel, nine tenths quicker than Raikkonen was on softs.

"I have a struggle with the brakes, especially in the second part of the lap," Vettel reports. And sure enough, there were some lock-ups.

"Watch those front temps, a little bit cool at the moment," Mercedes notes to Hamilton.

Hamilton backed off very early on his first super-soft lap. Looks like he wasn't happy with that first corner and wants to try again.

A replay shows why Hamilton binned his lap, he outbraked himself when he came upon Hulkenberg's Renault on the apex of a corner.

"A lot of vibrations from the brakes. I don't know why," says Raikkonen.

They're actually slower than last year's fastest FP2 time (1:31.0). Weird.

    Disappointing; 2009 to 2016...

Replays confirm Bottas's T-wing did drop off as he shot past Hamilton. Marshals have cleared the debris.

On general note, if we see first two races in quali top teams to midfield is almost 2sec. So I think mercs & Ferrari laps are not with full potential

The F1 2000~2005 cameras made these cars look so freaken fast, now its hard to tell when they are on outlaps and flying laps
