no the late decision to pit and the VSC messed up the strategy... Seb was gaining lead on Lewis before VSC, when he pitted the gap would have been 10 secs or more... he would have had to closed that gap pushign those tyres while Seb would have pitted and maintaining a gap .. but when Seb came out in front of Lewis with no gap then the chance was half gone...

To pit under VSC is hard to call. As it all depends on where Seb was on the track when it came out. If he just got on to to straight, no chance. Unless VSC is out for long enough for Seb to go round at the VSC pace and pit and get out. If Seb was on the straight, Lewis would be far enough behind to pit. You can not start blamming the pitwall for being slow, rubbish at making a call. It all depends on where you are on track and if got enough time to make a stop with out loosing to much time. They can see the data and make the call needed. Its easy to sit on sofas and scream pit pit pit you all useless!!!!
