We lost because Bottas has driven this race just for Lewis.. He was defending like mad and loosing a lot of time for himself just to keep Vettel up..
After his win in Russia I thought he was right up there, he was nowhere here.. 30s after 27 laps..He just made himself a number 2 driver after his drive today, no champion

To be fair in their position we would do the same, every onbe would do. And making him 2nd driver. Yes. He is CLEARLY 2nd driver to LH. Period! And that is normal.

Mercedes now fixed their tyre degradation problem

Probably because of James Allison. Cars which he's involved in are quite easy on the tyres (eg. Renault, Ferrari).

They have no idea when VSC is going to end. You understand what i said? If VSC came out as Seb on straight Lewis could jump straight in and pit, Seb would need do a lap, and VSC could come in by time he gets around. Seb pits, VSC ends and Lewis as at full speed, its just one of those things you can not predict. A gamble which 50/50. A full SC would of hurt us alot more.

If you need to or want to pit around those laps and suddenly VSC comes out, you should pit immediately because VSC is a perfect time to pit, that's what i'm trying to say. You should not risk it to the end.

one point? few points, race start good, WDC leading still good, points finish for Seb good, team done great work pitstops and preparing the cars for the race.

It was a good race. We lost, but it was close from beginning to end. Our pace on harder tyres was close to the merc on soft tyres. You can't win them all! And to be within 5 seconds after 66 laps is a testament to the strength of our car.

Think back over the last 9 years. Then tell me tonight was a bad result.

Reminds me of '07 and '08. Great years with great, close battles with mclaren. This year will go down in history. It's great we don't have another 2014/15/16. I'd rather this fight than a Ferrari walk over anyway.

Disappointed with the result, especially after Vettel's start. Not a bad result though, considering Bottas held Vettel up and Mercedes brought what was basically a brand new car to Spain. I am shocked that Hamilton's soft tires lasted to the end... I thought Vettel would be able to catch him.
