Forza Ferrari! Selfishly, I would have preferred Seb on pole but am so happy for Kimi and for our team. Kimi was my hero as a 16 year old, it's good to see him back on top after 9 years. Couldn't be happier today.

Really glad the result. I think and hope we finish in the same order.
Oh what happened to the bulls.... Ricciardo 8tenths down on kimi.
Hopefully we'll have a normal race tomorrow.
No drama, no strategy-blunder, simple race and a Ferrari 1-2.
When was our last 1-2? Germany 2010 springs to mind but was there a later one?
We have to pay attention to Bottas tomorrow as he jumped us last time we were 1-2
Here's the radio after P1 :) https://youtu.be/-fXLLJkyoM0
lol JB good interview
Wow, that was emotional for me. Honestly I didn't believe Kimi being on pole here or anywhere.
I hope we will see a clean race tomorrow, a race where the best man wins. Should Ferrari favor Seb I'm ok with that but yet I hope Kimi will deliver a win before his retirement. Monaco (and Spa) would be great.
botas was only 0.045s behind Kimi
I hope Seb and Kimi play it smart tomrw, expect mercs to try under/overcut
The moment the iceman droped his helmet :) https://youtu.be/shlMYhfHaiI
Geez Maurizzio seems so stressed :D
What a lap by Kimi, fantastic. So glad Kimi is back, i also secretly wished for Kimi to be on pole and Seb close second. I think this is good for Kimi's morale and motivation. If he wins tomorrow and Seb finishes second i'll be extremely happy. Nevertheless, i'll be extremely happy with a 1-2 anyway
Hamilton didn't manage to get into Q3 meaning that Seb will pull away a lot in WDC standings even with a second place. I expect Hamilton passing someone and then some more through pit stop but that's about it. I predict he finishes sixth or seventh, fifth if he is very lucky. As for Mercedes, Bottas surprised me and many other with his last lap in Q3, he was very close. We are pretty fortunate Hamilton didn't manage to find that pace.
I hope everything goes as planned tomorrow and yeah, we need to watch out for Bottas as he knows to be very competitive at the start. Ending the 16 years drought in Monaco with a 1-2 will be phenomenal
By the way, it looks like these year's cars didn't manage to break any track records during races this year. These year's fastest laps are still 2 seconds slower than in 2004. Maybe because those year's cars had refueling and were lighter?
atleast no smug toto wolff , enjoy your day chaps
