Perhaps, still I think it wasn't bad to pit Kimi when they did, since clearly he was slowing down, and it was clear he would be ahead of Sainz with clear track.. Seb was able to unleash a lot of pace when Kimi was gone. I don't think Kimi had that pace left because otherwise he would have used it.

So 2023 started off bad, but managed to claw back some lap time come end of the year. Lets hope SF24 will give us tifosi something to smile about.

Or they did that to force BOT in reacting which would put them behind Sainz, and then RIC would have clear air so they could give RIC a podium after they sabotaged his race last year ;p

No really. Raikkonen simply wasn't fast enough.

Should the race finish in the current standings, Sebastian Vettel will extend his championship lead to 25 points over Lewis Hamilton down in seventh.

And still isn't RIC much faster.. RIC can close in def with traffic coming up. RIC is very good on the brakes, I see him pulling one off with Kimi thinking you can't overtake here so he'll probably be sleeping

RIC very strong pace on SS, compared to both RAI and BOT. But it's first time RBR is on SS this weekend.. Do Ferrari and Merc know better and try to save them till the end?

Raikkonen seems to be lacking any interest in getting below a 1m17s now, so Ricciardo smells an opportunity. The Red Bull is now just 3.4s behind the Ferrari, lapping significantly faster.

I love that everyone had a giant debate about switching Kimi and Seb. We all knew this would happen. They did it right. And people are acting like Kimi had no idea. Kimi would have known the plan exactly.

Now it's the comentators job to make a story out of it. Hence Kimi must be "demoralised". Puh-lease

Extending the lead to 25 points, will give us cushion 2 races to finish 3rd with VETTEL.
