having a secret meeting is unfair. Only mercs & RB do such things in order to be competitive.
Teams like ferrari, FI, Sauber, Mclaren suffer for it.

If they (RB) want to have a metting, let them conduct all team meeting. Where wtever rules they (RB) propose, let there be a voting for it. RB knows mercs & ferrari will oppose their rules. Thats why all these stuff.

The rules are discussed with all teams. Many said this year's rule changes were to favour Red Bull.......

yes because, in the regulation change meetings RB played their cards to their strength related to aerodynamic changes. While mercs played their version saying no engine change, we accept other changes.

RB's plan back-fired. Now again they are pushing the F1 rules to their advantage for 2020.

I think Liberty Media will go for the regulations that will bring the best show possible but at the same time preserving F1's status as the pinnacle of technology. If that doesn't suit Ferrari and Merc then tough luck.

RB and Mercedes are 2 entirely different entities:

1.) Mercedes "twists" or "bends" the rules in their favor due to road-relevance for their cars.

2.) RedBull has no road-relevance for their product since they are a "coke-bottling" company. That said, the are the only only team in F1 with 2 teams. IMO, they want to bend the rules

in the engine or PU dept so they are not so freakin expensive and are simple. This would favor Ferrari as well as the others...including Mercedes. They(MB) might drop out as a

constructor since the new "formula" does'nt favor their road-relevance automobiles BUT will supply MB engines to teams that want the simpler engine because there is still money to be

    made.

3.) Mercedes could also veto the simpler engine formula to say that they are also pulling out of F1 altogether since they supply half of the field with engines.... hypothetically speaking.

In the end, all 4 (MB, Ferrari, Renault, Honda) have to agree to the engine formula......and all agree that if 3 pull out, one will be picked out of a hat to supply all the teams with

    engines until the next agreement.

And I think Liberty Media will know they need the likes of Ferrari to put on any show.

Funny, I just can't picture the Scuderia Ferrari as this meek lamb-like organisation, rubber stamping their approval of proposals put forth by other teams.
Even when they are not making loud public proclamations, you can be sure they are busy behind the scenes getting their message to reach all of the important ears.

Forecast is very volatile in Montreal this year. I would only trust it the day before.

Sunday is now calling to be hot and humid with a risk of thundershowers. Temperature will be 28 meaning track temps will be high 30's if it doesn't rain and assuming the forecast is accurate (which it most likely isn't)...
